My Interview was on Oct 21st ( IR1 and IR2 Immigrant Visa)
The immigration officer unit was very helpfull, and very flexible for the interview date.My interview date was pulled in 1 week from original date
The Consular also very nice, friendly.The questions were easy to answered.
Not complicated at all.
Visa was issued within 15 min.

The Consul and every one else wonderful! The firs comment from the consul was (You guys looking very nice on the pictures! After couple more simple question the Consul said you are approved and fingerprint was done by him to! Waited a additional 30-minutes to the print off the Visa for her the same day. They told my wife you have plenty of documentation an pictures from NVC. Didn’t asked her for any additional proof!
A nagykovetsegen mindenki nagyon aranyos es segitokesz volt, az egesz folyamat gyorsan lezajlott!
Egy par egyszeru kerdes utan, a consul megcsinalta a felesegem ujlenyomatat es egy felora mulva szolitottak , amikor visszakapta az unleveled a vizummall! Miutan jo utat kivant a consul, a felesegem boldogan hagyta el a kovetseg epuletet!

Our experience,
Me and my Fiance were present for her K1 Visa Interview. The Embassy is located in a beautiful area in the heart of Budapest and we arrived 2 hours early which was a mistake because there was really not a lot of people waiting for their interview. Outside the front of the embassy is gated off with guards who tell you if you can enter or not and since we had two hours to blow we just walked around town and even got a small bite to eat. So I would recommend that you get there early but no TOO early or else you just drive yourself crazy waiting around.
Next, one of the guards did let us in early so be sure to ask them which was very helpful for us because as we were waiting for our interview a lot of Hungarian students trying to get student visas came and they filled the entire waiting room.
