Our interview was at 7:15 and we didn't get to the first window until 9:30. The interview wasn't until almost noon! The actually interview lasted only 5 minutes maybe. I was there with my fiance, so I am sure that helped. Bathrooms are nice, but bring some food and drink! Lots of other people who were there did. It took 9 days for my fiance to get his actually visa, since it has to go through HaitiMesseger Service.

Our experience in the US Consulate in P-au-P went very well, after got there 2 hours late to our interview, they treated us very good the security guards was very friendly. restrooms was very clean, after 10 mins of interview we was approved with no proof of relationship asked. I wish USCIS was as efficient as US Consulate in P-au-P, Haiti.

Once he submitted his paperwork, we didn't have to wait very long for the interview (about 2 weeks). My husband went on the interview by himself and it went very smoothly. However, they didn't have his passport ready in the time frame that they promised. They told my husband it would take 5 business days for his passport to be ready, but it was several days later before he was able to pick it up. All in all, the process was a lot smoother in Haiti than it was here in the US to get to that point.

My fiance's interview went very well. We made sure he had every form of documentation imaginable (photos, phone records, emails, employment verification, tax returns, etc). The interviewer was a woman (we were hoping for a woman) and she was friendly and supportive. We couldn't be happier!
