I am an america and my experience with this process is that it is a sham. I was the petitioner to my soon to be ex husband whom I met in Ghana. In the first year of our marriage, he cheated on me with multiple different Ghanaian women, lied to me several times, abused me, had a baby with me, then when he got the citizenship he left us both. Please think very careful before you go through this process as you might end up with a broken heart for the rest of your life like me.
