My interview was scheduled at 1pm. I arrived a little ealier, around 12:45pm.

I was called at the first booth : A man took my convocation letter and checked my passport.

At the second booth: A lady took all of my documents, my passport and the Chronopost envelope. She also took my fingerprints. She asked me some questions:
"- When did you meet?
- What does your fiance do for living?
- What do you do for living?
- When do you plan on getting married?
- Are my parents coming to the wedding?
- Have you met his family?
[...]"
She didn't ask for any extra proof of ongoing relationship. She told me how lucky I am because I'll live in a ski area (my fiancé lives in Vail, Colorado). She explained the process, what we have to do after we get married. She told me about the AoS, the Social Security Card, about having to leave France in less then 6 month, getting married in 90 days,... She said if everything goe... read complete review

I got to the Embassy at 12.45 pm.
There where like 20 ppl in the waiting room

5 min after i took my number, I got called to the first booth : Took the number, cut it in half, took my convocation letter and checked my passport

1 hour and a half later, I got called to the same booth : She was very nice. Asked for all the papers, joked about how they give the 2kg Chronopost letters stuffing for those who wanna change their babies, and told me how lucky I am to live in Dinard :P

30 min later, I got called by the consul : very serious old lady. She asked me 100 questions :
- I assume you speak English?
- Where did you meet
- What does your fiance do for living
- What does his job title mean
- What do I do for a living
- Who supports me
- Where are we gonna have the wedding
- Are my parents coming to the wedding
- What does my parents do for a living (O.O)

And the... read complete review

My interview was scheduled at 1pm, I arrived a bit earlier, I'd say the best is to be there at 12:45. It was actually very boring, 30 to 40mns between each booth (3 in total) so I spent 2 hours in total.
Interview lasted less than 5mns, I had to sign the two last papers, and I answered 4 questions:
- What does your fiance do for a living?
- What do you do?
- What do you plan to do there?
- Where will you be living?
My interview was on December 30th, and it was obvious they all wanted to leave because the Consulate was closing for New Year, so it seems I had a "fast forward" process (except for the waiting). As it was said previously, the staff is professional but not so friendly. But the Consul said my visa should arrive in the mail in 10 days or so. Et voilà !

Our interview was Dec 1 at the Paris, France embassy, and since we came very prepared, the interview process went very smoothly, and with no surpises. We saw three different individuals, who were mostly kind and polite (one woman was a bit disagreeable) They were also professional and knowledgable. The first man simply checked my fiance\'s passport, and then checked his name off of a list. The second woman took all of our paper work, one by one, and made sure that we had all we needed (this took about 15 minutes). She also took fingerprints. Finally, it was time for the interview with a third woman, who, before calling us to her window, reviewed our documents. She was very attentive and kind while my fiance responded to her questions, which were:
What he plans to do for work in the USA, whether or not that was his current profession (it\'s not), whether it bothered him to change professions, if he had met and got along with my family, and finally if he liked hot weather (I\'m f... read complete review
