Efficient and quick to process papers. Helpful and accomodating (fiance was able to come too upon request). Not straight-laced.

So I'll be the second to give feedback on this consulate :lol:

Staff is very efficient, professional, and helpful. Consulate is located in a gorgeous area of the city. They've tightened security since 9/11 of course, but I find the new protocol to be reasonable and easy to follow.

I've had an overall positive experience with the Helsinki consulate. They were doing things a little slow at times but I only feel that way because I've been very anxious to get this K1 process over and done with Reading people's posts on how things work in other countries I have nothing to complain about. The personnel at the consulate is friendly and cooperative, and as long as you have all the needed documents there really is nothing to worry about. I wish all the people going through the Helsinki consulate the best of luck! (F) Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
