I give humble thanks and all glory to GOD.
My fiancé was approved for her K1 Visa in Addis Ababa today.
The process at the Embassy and her interview with the CO went smoothly.
My fiancé arrived early and I’m happy she did because there was a long line outside the Embassy of people waiting to get checked in. (Make Sure to go at least one hour before your interview)
We made sure she had all the right documents before she went for her interview. (Make Sure You Have The Following)
* Passport
* Birth Certificate plus 1 photocopy
* Police Record plus 1 photocopy
* 2 Passport Pictures
* I-134 Affidavit of support and the petitioner Tax transcripts ( I sent tax transcripts, W2’s and last 3 month Paystubs)
* Medical ( In Addis your medical info will be sent directly to the Embassy by your doctor)

I got interviewed on September 30, 2019, and where asked a couple of questions which basically I should know by heart. like Date of our marriage, the birth date of my spouse and our child, where we meet and when, where my spouse works, How many times I meet my spouse before marriage and where, bla bla.....the interview went smoothly and the officer told me that my visa is approved. The consular officer checked all the documents, I mean the originals and the copies I have submitted. The officer was very professional and polite.
