Arrived at 7am after being instructed to arrive at 7:30am for 8am interview. Were able to stand in line as the first ones.
My husband was let in at 7:18, I (naturally) had to wait outside, so I went for a walk. When I returned later, the people on duty were very kind and said it wasn't a problem for me to sit in the area and wait for him to come out.
Husband said the interviewer was very friendly and easy to talk to; she made him comfortable. He was asked if he wanted an interpreter and declined.
Questions he was asked:
-How and when did you meet your wife?
-When did you propose?
-Where was your honeymoon?
-Has she/you been married before?
-Have you met her parents?
-Are her parents divorced? (I thought this was an interesting one. They're not.)
She asked if he brought any photos, which he provided. She made general small talk, commenting on the wedding, etc.

The interviewer was nice and asked questions about the pictures and whatsapp messages we'd included in the I-129F package. She asked the following questions (that he can remember):
1. How did you and your fiancee meet? (asked twice)
2. How many times have you and your fiancee met?
3. When was the last time you saw your fiancee?
4. When will you get married?
5. What kind of wedding will you have (big or small)?
6. What does your fiancee do?
7. Has your fiancee already earned her degree (because fiancee is a fulltime graduate student)?
Fiance said that the embassy was very nice and clean.

Our cases are approved ( pending medical results). Both CR1 for Spouse and IR5 for Mother got approved. They got at the gate around 8 Am for 9 Am interview appointment. 30 people waiting to get in at the gate.Interview letter and Passport were the only thing they needed at the gate.After they went in there were more than 100 people inside waiting for their turn. Non-immigrant(Student and Visit) visas were Interviewed before us. IR5(Mom) did the interview first since elderly got prority.
There is pre-screening window where they requested Appt Letter, Passport, Birth Certificate,Marriage Certificate,Police Certificate and 2 Photo before they got in to Interview Window. These are the questions :-
1. How and when did you meet
2. How many times has he visited you
3. How long has he stayed
4. What does he do
5. When and how did he go to US
6.He went to US when he was at school?
7. Which state and City he live?
