Our interview was scheduled for 8:00 AM. We arrived early, at around 7:00 AM. It's a pretty organized facility/process. There are lots of employees there that direct everyone to their proper line. Upon entering the facility, my fiance was asked for his appointment confirmation, we entered and went through metal detectors. Once we passed that section, we were directed by an employee to have a seat in the "resident" visa (there is also a "visitor" visa line). At this point it was approximately 7:20 AM. We waited for about 15 minutes, and were called to enter the building. Once we entered the building, we made another line for the windows. Once we arrived at the window, my fiance was asked for his passport and medical records. Shortly after, he gave us a number and asked us to have a seat. Afterwards, he called us up again (I guess to finish inputting my fiance's information). Once that was done, he said we were set and could have a seat and wait for our number to be called.

Overall great experience! I joined my fiance at his interview on 10/29. We arrived around 6am for our 8am appointment. The appointment time doesn't really matter, and I would advise getting there early as the lines were already very long at 6am. There are multiple lines, each separated by the type of visa. There are many security guards to help direct you to the correct line. Make sure to review what is allowed in the consular before arriving, because I did notice many people who had to step out of line who had cellphone with them (no electronics allowed!)
We waited outside for about 45 min, and then they started letting people in. Those with 7am appointment were allowed in first. Once inside we went through security. Afterwards, we were seated outside in rows and slowly each row began entering a second building. Once inside this building (where the interviews happen) we stood in line and were given a number which would be used later for the interview. The first line is for doc... read complete review

We had the appointment scheduled for 7.00AM, arrived at 6.30AM. The entire process was very organized. We saw the Consular official around 9.00AM. He only asked few questions and wanted to see pictures together, including a trip we took to Ecuador in January. Everything went very smooth. They didn't even ask for the affidavit of support neither any of the financial documents. The Consular official asked about when my fiance asked me to marry him and we showed him the picture from that night we went out to celebrate. After that, he said "Congratulations, your visa was approved and your passport will be ready for pick up in 1-2 weeks". Overall a very pleasant experience. Just be truthful and everything will be OK. God always answers all the prayers!

"Appointment" was at 7am. I say that because the time really didn't seem to make a difference due to the lines. Got there at 7am and waited 30 minutes outside before being brought inside and given a number (061). Waited in another line about 20 minutes before being asked for birth certificate, medical results, and police certificate at a window. Afterwards we were told to sit in a lobby and wait for our number to be called to between windows #19-27. About 2.5 hours later our number was called (they are not called in order) and we had a nice man who asked me in english (American beneficiary) how we met, details about one of my trips, if I have been married before (which I have), what made me want to get married again, and in spanish he asked my fiancee (petitoner) how our relationship began, why she wants to marry me and when did she realize she wanted to marry me, if my family and friends know about her and if she was ready to get married. He asked to see our photos. Afterwards he said... read complete review
