Review Topic: K1 Visa

Experience at Embassy was good!

Arrived early at 7:30 am and lined up outside. Went through security and sat in a waiting room for a long time. Then, someone announced that anyone who didn't turn in appointment letter should. (That was us and another two folks.) We were the second last to be interview for the day (very hungry), and we were approved! We left around 12:30.

We were called to a window where the lady asked my fiance who was filling for him. He was fingerprinted. She asked for my job letter, I-134 and my tax information from last year. She then went through the papers to make sure that all the necessary documents were there. She told us to take a seat.

A few moments later, we were called to the interview window. He asked a few questions:

1. Where did you meet your fiance?
2. What was she doing in your country?
3. Who asked who out first?
4. Have you met her family? Do they like her?... read complete review

Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

i arrived at the us embassy at about 7:15 for my 7:30 interview where i met 2 other immigrant visa applicants in line before me.i had left my cell phone with my cousin who waited for me outside.there were 2 lines..1 for non-immigrant applicants & the other for immigrants.we then went through the airport like security & proceeded to a small room where we were asked to sit & wait.then after about 5 minutes we were asked to proceed to another building where we sat again.A woman then asked all iv applicants to bring forward the first page of their invitations & we sat again.by this time more iv applicants began coming in & i kept thinking how lucky i was to be 3rd in line.(wasn't sure if it was on a first come first serve basis).sat & waited for about 30 mins then my name was called.she asked a few questions then proceeded to explain the cr-1 process & told me i needed to sign up for selective service because i was not yet 26.she took a copy of my medicals,gave me one also but strangley ne... read complete review
