Aside from the long wait for the interview (5 months) everything went smoothly in the interview. He was asked my date of birth and the city I was born in. He got his visa the same day.

My fiance ended up getting there at 7am and said most of the other people had already been let in. He was number 41 of 50. He finally got called inside around 8 and then had to wait, watching the same CNN news until 12:30. Once he was actually in the interview he was really only asked two questions: 1. How did we meet? and 2. Did I have any sort of visit to my house last year (had exchange students living here)? He was then told he was approved and asked where we would live and if we were from the same church. The man was nice he said. My fiance was surprised that it was so fast, but attributed it to all the preparation paperwork, proof and documentation we had. It was a great outcome, so hard to be upset with the embassy. Waiting is common practice in Cuba, though not desired. He does however have to go back to get the visa on Monday after his Thursday interview because some machine broke. But soon he will be on his way here.

My fiance said that the offical interviewing him
was a very nice man. He only asked him these following
questions:

Are you a part of the Juventud Party.
How did you meet her and where?
Have you ever been to USA?
Was she married before?
Did she have children?
How do you two communicate?
Do you work?
What do you do?
What is her occupation and who does she work for?

He had to wait a long time from the time he arrived at
8:30 am until 12pm for his turn to be interviewed.
Overall he said it wasn't a bad experience.

Interview March 8th approved! My fiance was treated well at the USINT. He was interviewed by a Cuban woman and an American man. They asked 4 or 5 questions: one general question about his intentions when he gets to the US and the others were related to information on the forms he filled out. THey even gave him advice such as don't fly to Miami go through Mexico instead. He said the only bad part was the waiting.

Treated very well by all employees. While checking in at the park near the office escorted to front of the line with the only other K-1 beneficiary. Seemed like would then be first in line for interview...nope pretty much dead last at the end of the day!!!!! ha ha haaa Interviewer was US Citizen, spoke less then mediocre books on tape Spanish, seemed tired and frustrated. Relieved to speak a little English. She made a few jokes, but generaly very serious. Looked at evidence, asked why we chose K-1 and din't get married in Cuba. Said visa approved but would have to return the next day, since it was too late in the day to get security check back from Washington. Much easier than anticipated
