Review Topic: K1 Visa

I had my interview at 2 pm,the guards let me in 15 minutes earlier. There was one more case for J1 visa and as usual some interviews for green card. I paid the fee, then I waited about an hour to be called so I can give some of the documents I brought with me. I gave the requested translations, the I-134 form with one of the W2 forms, photos and some snapshots from Skype. The woman I spoke to was very nice and everything went very easy. Few minutes later after the fingerprints, I was called by a young American woman, who while looking to the documents asked me almost the same questions, but less than the first conversation. She said everything looks ok and that I would have my visa in a week

I have found the others people embassy reviews very helpful so here is mine as well …..
Basically it was very easy. I was so nervous but once I got inside I was calm, relaxed and smiling all the time. My interview was scheduled for 2 p. m. but I was there at 1.15 p.m. and due to the fact that it was heavily raining outside they let me in. After a strict security check I went inside /turn off any electronics you may have/. The paying desk was closed at that time but the person working there was so nice so he opened it only for me. Previously I have been in the embassy two times /J1 and B2 visa / and it was crowded with people then, but now it was so empty 3 cases for a green card and one another girl for a fiancée visa just like me /just a note: her American fiancé was outside with her but they did not let him go inside the embassy with her as they told them there is no need for him to be present during the interview/.

So once I paid $240 I was called to No. ... read complete review

My interview was at 2 pm. I went at the embassy around 1:30 pm and the guards told me I can go inside. At 2 pm I paid fee for interview - $240. At 2:20 pm a quite serious man (40-45 years) started to collect my documents. I saw that he have all documents which Mladen sent with I-129. So he had some evidence (photos, passports phone bills and etc.) and he didn't want any more evidence. He asked me several questions. After that he said that everything is OK. He gave me DHL form and said that he will come back after 10 minutes. After that he took it (14:40 pm) and told me to sit and wait the Consul to take my fingerprints and for interview. At 14:45 pm american woman took my fingerprints and told me to sit and wait the Consul. At 14:50 pm young and very friendly woman called me and started asking me questions on Bulgarian. By the consul was another man - just seating and watching. Council asked me similar questions. Then she said that everything looks fine and they would send my visa in ... read complete review

He was a man, was quite serious аnd he started to collect the documents, then he asked me did I bring any evidence and I say yes and give to him tel.bills from my fiance, skype screen shoots, yahoo messenger screen shoots and one album with a pictures,I had more, but he said that I gave is enough. He asked me several questions and thats it..He told me to sit and wait the Consul. When the consul came called me and started asking me questions. He talked to me in Bulgarian and I decided to answer to him in Bulgarian too, was not a problem. The consul was nice.By the consul was another man,I think he taught. Once he asked me some questions, took my fingerprints and told me he would send me a visa from 2 to 3 days by ... read complete review

Ok..so I went at the embassy around 1:15,my interview was at 1:30, the guards told me I can go inside…
I went inside the building, and waited for 10 minutes, then my name was called by a nice Bulgarian woman.
She started asking me questions, in Bulgarian of course, about how and where we met…normal questions about both of us..what does he work, does he live alone..she had this list with sample questions, I think, cause I saw her checking them out.
Then she went through all our photos, the ones we sent with the petition, and made me explain who is who in them…everything went well! There was nothing scary, its just the waiting that makes it look harder. Then she said, everything look ok, and asked me to sit down, and wait for the council.
That took 2:15 hours…..sigh…we’ve waited there for so long…that was the worse part!
They called my name, it was a young American woman, around 30’s…she was nice and polite, and asked me only 2-3 quest... read complete review
