So let me start by telling that we are a gay couple living in a quite homophobic country, so we are married in Denmark instead of our country, because it's illegal here.

My appointment was at 2pm, I've arrived around 1:30, and immediately entered the building. There was no applicants waiting to enter. Inside, I've showed passport, got a security check, and gave 2 photos.

There was around 10 people waiting. I've waited for around 15-20 minutes , and got called to submit all my paperwork. Lady took almost everything, including my 500 pages worth evidence of relationship. There where no remarks of us being gay. The next wait was for the actual interview, there was only one consul working, and majority of people where DV Lottery winners. So I've waited for approx 1,5-2 hours.

So the consular officer was very polite and smiley person, that immediately put me on ease. First he read the oath, and I've said yes I swear, then he showed me my ... read complete review

Her appointment was at 1:30pm and she was there at 12:30pm. They didn't let her in until 1:15pm so don't go too early especially if it's cold like this. Anyways she called me 3 hours later and that's because she was the last person to have the interview. At first she gave in all her paperwork and then waited until they call her for the interview. The questions they asked were basically.....
"What does your fiance do for living?"
"How and when did you guys meet?"
"Have you met his parents?"
"Does he go to school?"
and since we were denied the first time, they asked her do you know why you got denied the first time? to which she responded, "yes because we hadn't met the requirement of meeting in the past 2 years."

After that the C.O. said the magical phrase I am going to go ahead and APPROVE YOUR VISA. They said you will get your visa in hand in 5 days but don't make any travel arrangements because it might take 7 days instead of 5.... read complete review

My fiancee had her interview on September 17, 2015. They asked many questions related to our relationship, including

1. My career/education,
2. Her own education and career,
3. About my family and siblings,
4. How many months we spent together,
5. How long we have known each other,
6. When we met and under what circumstances,
7. What my parents think of her and her marriage,
8. What she loves about me, when we will have the wedding and
9. what are our plans for the wedding
10. What are our shared interests and beliefs

Well, so many questions, but basically the kind of questions Visa Journey guides and resources prepare you for, so I definitely recommend VJ and give props to them for helping us to get through the interview smoothly.

So after the interview was over, the consulate officer said that we had not submitted enough photos as proof of the relationship, and not en... read complete review

Everything went very good, arrived 30 minutes before scheduled interview. General questions asked like where does your husband live and work and how long has he been employed at his current job. At the end of the interview my wife was informed that she passed.
