My mother got her visa today but the case number in her visa i little different from her case number. Example

Her case number MNLXXXXXXXXXX

In her visa the case number MNLYYYYYYYYYYYY

Does she need to return her visa back to embassy to be corrected?

This is in Manila embassy

June 3, 2016 - Ready but its not stated that its open. The information is still about their interview thingy.

June 6, 2016 - Ready and still not stated as its open.....

Can somebody enlighten me about my moms visa status? What to expect?

After the long and unending questions finally they congratulated them. All glory to God!

Over age 59 do not need to complete the seminar, but do need to register to get their sticker.

Hi! I'm searching former possible requirement for senior citizens once they got their visa. As ive read they are excempted from seminar though they need to be registered.

Now, what are the requirements for senior citizens?

Do they have to personally present at the cfo office?

Congrats! My parents are going later for medical today later today May 18. They arrived at the hotel an hour ago.

thank you! Well my parents were so nervous and my mom is weak becoz of her diabetes but they made it! The wait is longer on their 2nd day than the 1st day. My dad got a stamped of "immunization" and he's done by 11 am but my mom got a stamp of "medical on process" and they waited for 4 hours til her name was called. But thankfully nothing was negative on her medical something was just missing and after they review it they called her and do her immunization. My mom was done at 3pm but its all worth the wait. Goodluck to your parents too!

You got 2 NBI clearances for your mom? Or just 1 NBI with married and maiden name on it?

Because my moms nbi clearance is only 1 containing her maiden and married name.

Hi my parents are going to do their medical next monday and tuesday at St Lukes Manila Philippines. I just have some questions since they already senior citizen.

Dad: High blood pressure, high cholesterol, and in maintenance medicine

Mom: Diabetes and using insulin too & Psoriasis

Can somebody accompany them inside the whole process? I'm planning my sister to be with them during their medical exam.

What should they bring since they're both taking medicines everyday for their health condition?

Is there any problem about their health condition?

sorry to hear that! my parents will do their medical monday and tuesday, hopefully they will pass and I"m the one getting nervous right now.

You're fine for sure! Just make sure to show proofs that you are living together from the time you came here and got married. Joint bank accounts, joint utility bills, joint credit cards are some example of proofs that they want from both of you.

I came here as K1 and now a US citizen....a stay home mom with 2 kids and never work since i came here. I do send money too for my parents and there was nothing negative or problem that we encountered. Goodluck!

My Parents going on Mar 18.. I will book them a hotel near st lukes. I only sent them interview letter, st lukes preregistration, passport copy of course their pix and passport photo. Did you have them bring anything else?

yeah thats what their bringing too! my parents medical will be on may 16 and 17 coz … hopefully everything will be fine. how old are your parents?

wow its been a long wait! Mine was case completed April 15, 2016 and called them April 30, 2016 and got a good news that hey just made an interview appointment for that day for my parents from Philippines. You'lle be next don't worry!

Got a good news guy! after 9 working days of waiting, my parents got their interview schedule on JUNE 2, 2016 at US Embassy Manila. Its thru phone call by the way, when i called NVC they just told me to wait for the letter and it took 7 days to email it to us because they just made the interview appointment on their system just today.

NVC say that our case is complete last April 18, but then until Today havent have any interview date.. did any of you guys here have interview date already?

Hi I'm also waiting for my parents interview schedule. Their case was completed since April 15, 2016 but haven't received anything about their appointment. Some of us from Phillippines are also in the same situation just like you….Its been 10 working days for me and hopefully next week.

Yep called them and both mom and dad are waiting in line for interview date schedule at MNL Embassy

nope I'm still waiting for their interview day. Its been 7 working days…… call NVC to confirm if they're case complete already.
