vett got a reaction from Merrytooth in k-1 and may get deported
thank you all. for such thorough answers, i really appreciate it. as of now i am closing this chapter of my involvement. i did all i can as a friend to both f them just to see if they could find a way to work things out. and while the husband is willing to meet half way and offer some type of compromise to give their relationship a chance, she is not budging! she wants out,but with all the benefits, she refuses to meet him half way. she wants him to still continue the petition because of their son, and also give her an apartment, a car and help her to go to get her bachelors degree. and all that, but refuses to offer any sort of compromise on her part. so i told them that as of now, i am out of it. because i refuse to take sides, and it has become clear to me that she really only wanted to get the green card. it's not my place to point fingers so i am done.
thanks guys

vett got a reaction from Andy and Kayla in Do we *HAVE TO* get married??
well it seem to be the only way, unless you are going to seek asylum, get an employer to file for you or if you are qualified for the visa lottery and won. other than that if you have any family member who is a us citizen, like your mom or dad that can petition for you.those are the only options i see. am not sure if someone else is more advisable. good luck

vett reacted to Amy and Nick in cr1 evidence
Sometimes at interview they dont look at any of the evidence, and sometimes they ask for it! Its best if you can be as prepared as possible, but usually if they want to see something they will just issue with a notice that the visa app is accepted pending a certain piece of info the require.
The best thing to do is get added to as many bills as possible. Bank acc may be difficult as you are not in the US, but he can add you to health insurance, life insurance, gas, electric and water bills...basically anything you cant think of. Sams Club cards etc
Have you any way of getting hold of emails, phone records, MSN chat?
If youve been through USCIS and NVC with no RFE's its USUALLY a good sign!
