Thanking GOD ....I am so happy early in the morning hours went to sleep seen our status changed date but still said AP I guess it was 10am Cairo time and my husband just woke me and said VISA ISSUED OMG I can't explain what is going through me now.I THANK ALL VJ members who not just advised but told there stories because that really helped to see others with similar situations and helped see a light on certain things happening in the case.I am wishing all who are on this AP nightmare the best of luck.Someone pinch me

My husband was under Manatory AP.I called DOS and asked them was there different Adminstrative Prossessing They said No it's all the same.

It's been a long Journey....Been almost 2 years since I petitioned my husband and we finally are done with AP. Praying you have a short AP......

a friend of mine didn't get updated much and his visa was issued Nov 7th he is also from Egypt

True it really does help to know people that went through similar situations as you are going through and it's really informative. Even though my husband is off AP I will continue to come here on VJ.Timelines are important.And sometimes you are stressed out and need answers and someone or even many been through what your going through it really can ease your mind. VJ is the best

My husband was called today and was told get a new police report they will give him his visa I am so happy I am crying

Sad story about Sara GOD bless her...we waited >> I-130 was approved in 294 days from your NOA1 date.It's hard and than hard also when you wait and get on AP after the interview... I wish you the best of luck

Hello good morning. While I know this is a frustrating time for you and your husband, I think you should have seen this coming. I see you have been a member here since August 2012. therefore you have had ample time to witness firsthand the plight of EVERYONE going through a MENA country. Almost ALL males have AP. This is not something new to you. I do not mean to sound harsh, but come on, what makes your hubby any more special than the rest? Surely in your eyes he is, yet to the immigration powers that be, he is just another number. Seems to me you should be grateful he had a much easier interview than most, and that he was approved. Celebrate the fact you are at the final stage of this hard process! If need be fly home without your husband, if you have pressing issues to go home for. The embassy isn't stopping you, rather YOU are stopping YOU from flying home. Yes in a "perfect" immigration world you and your hubby would go thru the airport skipping and holding hands but sometimes it just does not roll like that. Many of us had to leave our husbands after the interview, some were unable to see their husbands at all during the process. My advice would be to calm down and let it come as it comes. I know it is hard to do. There is light at the end of the tunnel or maybe I should say there is a visa at the end of the AP. Best wishes to you and your husband for a speedy AP.

Well I think it's helpful to show we all are going through alot of different things That she isn't alone and maybe my problems are worse than what she is going through.For me it helps knowing I'm not alone and other people have the same struggles in life ...so it's relevant to me
