Hi, I'm about to help out my Permanent Resident mom to file I-130 for my under-21 sibling. Are 2x2 photos required for mom and sibling to send with the I-130 form?

Great day all!
I am filing my AOS for my Parents' Petition, and I have a question on Part 6 19.a, b and c, which asks for Total Income on my 3 recent Tax Years. I am filing jointly with my husband, so do I enter OUR total Annual Gross Income or do I enter MY Annual Income alone?
Thanks,
Imee

Hello!
My parents just got approved of a Tourist Visa and are coming here in the US this Christmas. I plan to send their IR-5 petition within the month, however now I am worried that it might affect their visit. That when they come in through their Point of Entry, they might be held and turned away because of a pending petition.
Please help and advise.
Thanks!

Thank you! I plan to get them Tourist Visas by July so they can come here anytime, then upon approval (hopefully by August) I will file for their I-130. I understand that I file one for each parent, when sending these, can I just mail them in one packet?
Also, anyone knows a checklist to send along their I-130?

Hello!
I am just preparing in advance... I will be filing I-130 for both my paretns. And once I have it approved, what documents and Forms should I send to NVC with their AOS and IV? Is there a link here in VisaJourney where I can find the checklist?
What are the fees for these? And, since I will be filing for Mom and Dad, should I send separately?
Thanks,
Ims

Great day to everyone!
I need advise if I am on the right track on the next steps I'm about to take with USCIS.
Here's my situation. I got Naturalized May 2015, and so I would want to have my parents and sister live with me here. Parents are married and both aged 56, sister turned 17 years old this month (June 2015).
I understand that I would need to apply Form I-130 for IR-5 Visa for my parents, does any one know what would be the timeline for that?
At the same time, the main reason I am petitioning them is I want my baby sister to get here before her age lapses. Some of my friends say that 18 years old is the age limit, and I told them it's 21 years old.
What would be the fastest way for her to get here; do I petition her along with my parents' (what visa category will she fall under), or do I petition my parents first & once they get their Permanent Residence they would petition her under F-2 Category?
Thank you very much for your help!!!

Just an update, my AOS application just got approved!
Received an e-mail stating that my GC is in production already, without an interview. Thank Goodness!
Good luck to everyone! Hope all of you guys who haven't received their cards yet would have a swift journey:)

If I were you I'd try to do the walk in near my address and if they ask let them know the situation
I'll try doing that. Thank you!!

Great day to all!
I just received my Biometrics Appointment letter yesterday, after more than a month! I have a quick question, do you guys think it's good if I'll do a walk-in to another office? My ASC must be in Orlando but we've moved already to Tampa, and I'm wondering if I can just do my walk-in here. Funny thing is that I've changed my address first week of October and that they have already noted it through mail, and now they sent me this Appointment Notice that my ASC must still be in my previous address. Oh well...
So, if anyone can help or shoot any advice, I'd really appreciate. Thank you so much!

Haven't had anything in the mail for my Biometrics Appointment for almost a month now. But I checked my Case Status online at their website, it states that on October 5th my case was transferred to another office for processing and that they have sent me a notification regarding it through mail - which I haven't received either. You guys think I should call them now? To make things more complicated, we're moving this week and I have to file a change of address online asap too. Any suggestions on how to prioritize my stuff?
Thanks much guys, I'd greatly appreciate your help. A great day to all

I think it depends on your service center! Where do you live? And, where is your service center? It might be on its way to you
Here in Orlando, FL. Yup I'm really crossing my fingers for that. Thank you so much for the reply
I received my biometrics appointment letter after 3 weeks since I filed my AOS so don't worry, you will get it this week
Thanks, greatly appreciate that!

Uh oh, it's been more than three weeks since I filed for my AOS and received both NOAs, till now there's no Biometrics Appointment Letter yet. I don't know what's wrong.

Count me in. Sent our Packet last Sept 08. No updates yet from USCIS. Feeling optimistic for this week.
Good luck to everyone

Great day to all the members!
I am under a K1 Visa category who just got married last month. We are about to send our I-485 Packet but we're unsure of one thing: his employment. He's currently employed and have been with this one for more than a year now, but he'd be leaving this company next week since he luckily got recently accepted into a new one. Thing is, we're unsure as to which employer are we going to write down into our Affidavit of Support forms, his current one or the next he's about to have in a few days? I know that common sense defines "current employer" is his current one, yet we're just worried that once USCIS receives our application (which is in two weeks or so) he might be audited onto his current employer - which by then would be the employer that he left already - and the process may be prolonged of RFE that may require more documents in reference with the new company. Second option is just to patiently wait for his day of employment on his new work and affix this new company into our Affidavit of Support, but this means wasting days of waiting for his employment letter request again, thus wasting more days of having the Packet filed.
We'd really appreciate your ideas and advices through this.
Thank you so much

Good day to all!
I am under a K1 visa and have entered the US almost 3 weeks ago. I am torn between other posts regarding the application of a Social Security Number.
Our wedding is planned to be in two weeks. And we're looking forward to applying for my SSN thereafter. However, I am not sure what surname should I use on my SS application after marriage, would it be my maiden name still or my new married surname? It's a bit confusing since some posts say that several SS offices do not accept K1 applicants after marriage, that married K1 applicants should wait for their Green Card to get an SSN. I am in great need of my SSN since my Nurses Licensure Exam will expire and be nulled in a month if I won't be able to supply them my SSN.
What's the best thing to be done? Should I apply for an SSN BEFORE or AFTER marriage?
How long does it usually take for the card to be delivered?
I am based in Florida right now, any comments regarding the offices here?

Hi. Just a random question, should the I-134 Affidavit of Support Form be notarized?

My replies in blue.
Thank you so much for this! You just have no idea how much it helped! Thanks!!!

Thank you so sooo much for those fast replies! I never expected to receive swift answers from you, guys. I appreciate you answers a lot:)
So, since I have my MNL case number, I believe I can call USEM already to have my interview scheduled already, right?
Wow, I never expected it to be that fast:) Sorry, I just feel like I'm so uneducated with this visa filing. And I'm so glad I've bumped into great people this site have:)

Good day to everyone. I've been reading posts from this thread, and it helped me and my fiance onto our application, big time! Yet, I do have certain 'minor' questions that I hope you guys could help
We had our NOA2 that it was dated or approved on April 20th. My fiance then called if NVC received our case already and they replied that they sent it already to Manila Embassy, that was on the 27th, and have issued our MNLxxxx number. Thereafter, he then called Manila Embassy to ask if they have received the files already, they told him the electronic files is with them already yet the hardcopy is still awaited. Here goes my questions:)
1. As per the blogs and messages I've read, I would wait for the snailmail of the packet from ManilaEmbassy for me to sched my interview and other stuff. Should I just wait, or should we be ####### and keep on calling ManilaEmbassy?
2. Once I've got the answer from question 1, I've been wondering what should I be doin' first... 1)Call USEM to schedule for an interview OR 2)Pay for and interview OR 3)Have my Medical done?
3. As per the Medical, should I be calling for an appointment OR I can go to St. Luke's and pick the day I prefer to get it done?
4. I have prepped the files needed for the interview already. And I have peeped into one of the blogs which says that she and her fiance sent their Updated Letters of Intent directly to USEM. Must that be right? Or should I keep these Letters and personally present them on my interview date?
It's been a lot into my head, and I believe people here could be a lot of help. Thank you in advance for making my mental burden afloat:)
God bless us all into this journey:)

Hi everyone. I'm a newbie here in VJ. Me and my fiance have sent our application July of 2010. Never have we received a notification. Later have he thought that he wasn't able to include our pictures. He, then, re-filed and re-sent an application to TX on Oct 23, 2010. Till now, no NOA is being received. Question, was the decision of re-applicaiton ok? At the same time, if our application did have any error, we should have a letter telling us that we have to send other missing requirements, but we never did receive any. Plus, just to be sure sure sure, the requirements listed in http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide are all that we have to include in the packet, right?
Thank you in advance for any help.
