So you do have prospects but you're just being held back by a controlling husband. Get your license and a job, and divorce him. He's abusive. I'd go to your DMV asap and get your license. Here in PA my husband had to submit a lease (proof of residence, one utility bill in his name and his green card. I signed that he lived here anyhow so that wasn't really needed, but we wanted to be sure. I'm guessing your husband isn't going to sign for you if your state needs proof of residency. But you can google your state and see the requirements for applying.
I know since is from the UK they made him get a permit first and then do the driver's test.

I agree, it might have been a bulk were sent in at the same time as yours. I know I was a december filer and a lot on our thread waited 5-6 months for approval. This however was VSC which is slower than CSC by what I see.

    Good luck.
Mine went through fine. I'm the USC and we filed like I said on the other thread due to a charge in 1988 of my husband's. I was told to get an attorney, but did submitted it myself instead. Our local field office is extremely nice and that was where it was sent. Our interview officer was extremely helpful when I asked him at the AOS interview how to do this as suggested by him.
My husband did write something himself about his character, remorse, etc. It was approved without any problems.
