You friend should take the treats and go to a local court and ask for a restraining order. If the woman doesn't respect it then have her arrested. Usually criminal charges encourages someone to move on.

1) You cannot hand-deliver application. This is a lock box and by definition you have o mail it. This is impossible.
2) There is no way he mailed it or delivered it in March. If it gets lost it is lost. Period. I am sure if he hand delivered it in March and wanted you to be here ASAP he would inquire why it is not processed.
3) It does not matter anymore. However, I would ask myself why he did this.

I do see a judgment here, twice - "you're looking to not pay for something you got." That's not how I read this. He didn't know if she was eligible. He DID ask, and was told no. He accepted that and was looking for alternate methods when *they* contacted *him* to say oh you're in luck, we found a way to get you covered. He thought, "oh, thank goodness" - not knowing that the way they did it was to falsify a piece of information that he clearly gave them *accurately*.
Now, the issue is that if he had researched alternative ways, he would have gotten *assistance* with the situation, as someone in need of help because he did not have coverage. Anyone who has ever had a lapse in coverage knows that medical providers will work with patients of lesser means to assist them in meeting their obligations. Typically, they charge them quite a bit less.
That didn't happen for OP, because medicaid told him he was covered. So his wife's care was billed at full price.
Whatever you might think about the fact that different people pay different amounts for the same services, it's a fact. And the fact is, OP would have been billed less for everything had he used alternative resources to pay for the pregnancy.
So now OP has been billed at the "insured" rate and is being told he has to pay back at that rate. When it's not his fault that he was billed at that rate - he was honest and legitimately believed he was covered. Now what he has to pay back is way more than what his bills would have been had medicaid stayed with their original judgment of turning him down.
That is, in fact, not fair to OP, as it was Medicaid's mistake.
He's not looking not to pay for the care. He's looking to pay what he *legitimately* owes - which is the reduced rate offered to under- or un- insured patients. There's nothing wrong with that.

Like stated above: It highly depends on the consular office if they care or not for specific wedding plans. They are not all the same. You should read your country's reviews.

That is exactly what my fiance and are are going to do. When he comes to USA we are going to get married at the town court in a civil marriage then in a few months we are going to get married at the catholic church and have a reception after. My parents did the same thing over 30 years ago. I've been told it is very common. I am not exactly sure how you would file everything but I know it can be done.

Have appointment tmr for fingerprint. Just want to know if there is x ray scanner there for security check, like the ones at airport. Or just a metor detector door ?(you walk though it, if you have metor on ou, alarm goes off) .. I'm pregnant, cannot walk through the x ray thing. I am appalled with some answers here, anyway THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE!!!!!! he abused her physically once and keep abusing her mentally, what else does she have to endure for your guys to realize that she is living with an abuser?. If they are not communicating properly he has no right to abuse her, if he has no money he has no right to abuser her, if she has no job to earn money he has no right to abuse her!!!!! if his has a short temper he has no right to abuse her. Please let's not tolerate or excuse domestic violence!!!!!!In the US one woman is abused every three minutes, in 2011 almost 220.000 women/children were victims of domestic violence and in the U.S.A 3000 women are killed each year by their husbands/partners.
First of all you need to realize that your husband is an abuser, you should seek some counseling to help you to understand that and take action as well such as to report abuse suffered, find a support system,find out about your rights,create a safety plan and seek help. You need to take some serious decisions in your life to protect yourself and not to expose your daughter to witness domestic violence.There is no love in abuse.

This is a disgusting response. The woman explains that she's emotionally abused, and once physically. He brings over family members to bully her. He sets out a plan for her (raise the child, then have a 2nd baby) and when she attempts to follow that plan, he acts as if it never was the plan in the first place.

OMG I can't believe you want her to be a better wife, he should be a better husband. You don't go tellilng your family lies about your wife, you don't go getting your sister involved to help you attack your wife (verbaly).
She has been a stay at home mom for 5 yrs taking care of their child, something he wanted her to do, durring that time he is spreading lies about her, being verbally abusive and has started physically abusing her. No way on earth is she at fault, with an abusive man nothing will make him happy, she could be making 100k a year and he would still not be happy.The way he is getting his familly involved while he belittles/makes up ####### is abuse. This has been building up for 5 years, he has her feeling lost and confused, he has her daughter telling her he is mad at her how he doesn't love her. No parent should ever put their child in that position, that is child abuse.
Abuse is a deal breaker seek help for your daughter and yourself.

Never buy the plane tickets until the visa is in hand. A lot of things can happen that might delay the issuance of the visa.

It's strange, I am very white or don't have much of an accent -I know most people think they don't when they do, but I've been told several times I don't-.
