  1. Barring unforeseen circumstances, B2 visas are normally printed the same day...the return of passports with visas in them could take some number of days, depending on the reliability of local courier and/or mail service.

Computer/system glitches might delay printing by a day or two unless there was some system-wide shutdown....

consulates prefer to print approved visas as soon as possible in order to better manage the efficiency of the entire process.

    Are/were you a consular employee?

  2. Once you file for removing of conditions, you will receive your NOA1, of which it will say you have a one year extension, while the process your case You will need your expired greencard, passport and your extension letter to come back into the country.

    Excellent!

    Thanks for the feedback.

What KimberlyAhmed says is well stated and very true. However the other aspect you need to consider is passport control when leaving China.

Both the Airline and passport control in China will ensure that you have the correct documentation to enter the US. Be prepared to provide that documentation not only when entering the US but also when leaving China.

  3. A couple of things to consider here. On your visitor visa the longest permitted entry into the US is 6 months (If the immigration officer will grant it). If your husband petitions your IR-1 from the US you will have to go back to have your interview in Guangzhou and that will be longer than 6 months from when he files. Direct consular filing is normally a little faster so you will want to look into that also, either way you will have to interview in Guangzhou.

Do some research here on how long each route is taking.

    Good luck!
