HAA HOO if your lawyer is planning on presenting a human rights watch packet as her case for asylum - that is something I would PAY to see.
This woman sounds like a complete train wreck and if you don't follow her to whatever country she goes back to you'll probably be dodging a bullet. She ignored her every legitimate chance at a life in the US and now she's paying the price. Lots of fraudsters seem to ease through ICE's cracks so I, for one, am glad they nabbed this one.

I understand your feelings. As U.S. citizens, if we break the law we are punished and can rarely have a life again. If you are black and break the law you can hang it up on having a life again. The illegal aliens break the law and they are punished with a road to citizenship. Sometimes I wish my husband could cross the boarder but in my heartI know we are doing things right.

I have eyes and have seen this happening and I am not the type to lie about it. I said many because it happens more than it should, which is why all of us have such an uphill battle to prove legitimate relationship. Every time I mention fraud in west african relationships I get those that are offended, some of which amuse me because the fraudsters fuss the loudest.

It is a loophole that needs to be closed. Just cause you had unprotected sex that resulted in pregnancy does not mean you woild have died if you had to go back home. Thousands of people miss the birth of their kids. It is sad but not detrimental

I brought my wife to US absolutely legal way on K1. I am getting increasingly annoyed with cases that I see here saying: "Oh, I came here on VWP to see my boyfriend and all of a sudden decided to get married and stay here". I know that my statement can be controversial but I WILL state this: This is a lie! There is no way someone is coming across the world here, for example from UK or Russia for 1 month, with all their stuff in their countries, active apartment lease, jobs, family members, without any prior preparation and deciding "all of a sudden" to stay! I state again: this is a lie. 99% of cases. USCIS should stop considering those cases! These people should be removed from US and banned forever. Because of people like that legitimate couples have to wait longer. Would like to hear your opinions. Especially, I would like to hear the ones that came here on VWP, stayed, and will have decency to tell me here that in fact that was spare of the moment..

Just got off the Phone with USCIS this evening I got some discouraging news when you call USCIS first tier what ever times they give you double them, I am not kidding, if they say 5 months expect 10 months or longer! Obama and his Amnesty act has screwed all of us doing this the legal way and guess who gets priority now not us who sit by and wait and wait and wait but the ones who got here illegally and they don't have to pay a dime not one red penny! I hope every one has lots of time and lots of patience because you are in for a long agonizing ride! Oh and just to let you know USPS lost my petition some guy named thornquist is having a good time with the money I sent. and you KNOW what USCIS said for me to do WAIT and when i said i should cancel the money order and start over she said i would not do that if i was you i asked why she would not tell me she just kept saying their favorite word Wait! Wait!

Off the top of my head the lawyer wants a copy of the greencard to put in his portfolio of successes to CONvince a few others into hiring him or believing he's doing a fantastic job.
The only thing he deserves a copy of is 'the finger'.

Caryh really? I would not suggest to someone to take responsability for others wrong doings at all. YOU are responsible to recognize and apologize for your mistakes but not start the danger circle of apologizing for something you didn't cause, it's damn wrong. When you are wrong you are wrong and you should apologize for that, but when you are right you have to stand up for what you think is right and not to say sorry just to please the spouse, take this from someone married almost 10 years and we are damn happy.Unfortunetely she is in a terrible position here.If the guy is serious about her leaving the house OmG she will be out of status, risking to be deported and she won't be able to leave the Country with the child .It's a sad and danger situation tho.

Blob18 reacted to Gary and Alla in The first Gay K-1 Fiance Visa Progress with DOMA repeal on the Horizon (Tim & Keno)
First I want to clarify I am not anti-gay and wish for all Americans to have the same rights.
My concern on this issue is, and has been, that the Defense of Marriage Act was passed September 21, 1996. Before that time, it did not exist. There were no same sex K-1s BEFORE the Defense of Marriage Act. When/If the DOMA is struck down, why would they begin issuing same sex K-1s when they did not before?
Unless the SCOTUS not only vacates the DOMA, but also rules that the Federal Government CANNOT discriminate on ANY Federal benefit, we are back to where we were before DOMA which means no same sex K-1s. Obama COULD make an executive order requiring USCIS and DOS to issue same sex K-1s also, but executive orders can be rescinded by the next President so that is not satisfactory in the long run
I suppose an activist group could challenge the government's refusing K-1s to same sex couples based on the DOMA being vacated, but that could take years. Nothing wrong with being prepared but the ruling on DOMA itself is not likely to make any difference immediately

Maybe we should do a hands and feet buy back program or make registered offenders wear plastic around their hands and feet.
The liberal hysteria and stupidity, and dumb politician grandstanding never fails to amaze me. We must save lives they cry. This is for the children. No it's not. It's a polotical ploy by left wing polotcians who do not have a frank clue what they are doing, to erode more of the right power base and demonize normal people, who just want to work, pay their fair share, raise non-idiot government dependent morons, and be left alone.

There is no reason a USC should just turn a blind eye to being USED by someone just because it might screw up their future attempts to use someone else. I actually think we should have a sub forum to post details such as pictures of these jerks to help the next victim avoid the pain they will endure if they don't catch on early enough. US citizens are not fodder to be used by foreign person to get into the US. It isn't bad advise to flag them , they need to be banned forever and anyoen caught helping them should also be banned. They deserve to be banned ,destroyed and exposed. In fact I think those that support the abuse of USC's should also be redflagged as questionable immigrants and be denied citizenship as abbetting illegal activity

Just exactly as I said....CBP are the bad guys, every American's GF/BF/SO is the innocent victim....sounds like you don't care for the laws and regulations of the United States of America...there is no 'quota' for denying admission to arriving aliens...it's not some game played by bored CBP officials...denied admissions occur because the arriving alien gives CBP pause in some way...inconsistent answers, hestitant responses, followed by luggage inspections that often reveal the truth....so once again, I applaud the work of our CBP folks....and don't believe a word you say about them. Perhaps you believe that you could do a much better job sorting out bonafide tourists, etc when they get off the plane....if so, why not seek employment with CBP? In fact, why aren't they sending a car for you, begging you to completely manage the entire border system?
What you might consider doing is have a heart to heart talk with the wife...and, ask her for the I-275 (yes, that's the written report those nasty CBP folks draft when they are denying admission to someone...see if they checked the "quota for the month" denial box...or, as is more likely, there will be a narrative full of evasive answers given by your wife to the CBP folks....

CBP does not deny admission to people 'just for the fun of it'....the arriving alien has to give them a reason (it doesn't take too much of one)..such as ....not telling the truth to the CBP officer, when they asked her.."what is the purpose of your trip?..' or..'who are you planning to visit?'..and the answers given were, ahem, something other than correct...they may have inspected her luggage and found love letters or things that told them her 'friend' was something more than a friend...or other clues that suggested she was not being forthright with them...and such actions usually result in a swift U-turn back to the plane and back home...it's is amazing how anyone retelling the story of a denied admission of their spouse/fiance or 'family friend' (all one and the same!) always cast the CBP folks as the bad guys, whereas the foreign significant other was always innocent of any wrongdoing and only told the complete truth....odd I don't quite buy that as often as this story has been told...when the denied BFs or GFs (or SOs) get back home and on the phone, of course they are going to re-tell the story to make it appear as though CBP plucked them from the line of arrivals, whisked them to a dark room, beat them with sticks, threw water in their faces, made them sign papers they could not understand and whose contents were totally false....yep...happens every day...sure....what has usually taken place is that the arriving GF/BF/SO has given incomplete, innaccurate answers initially, and then, if taken to secondary, there is other evidence in their luggage, purse or other belongings that tell the true tale...the one that the unhappy American BF/GF/ SO never hears...I've worked alongside CBP twice (one day each time) in an earlier career, while they were screening arriving aliens from other countries, and they have highly tuned senses when they are working the line, sniffing out those who have other plans with remarkable accuracy....I applaud them for doing a truly thankless job..but their decisions benefit of all American citizens living in this country, and keep our borders much safer....and not just from terrorists, but from those who are trying to circumvent our laws...

You can't file for divorce until she has been gone for 6 months? LOL
Here's what I think after reading your whining posts. You probably need to leave that girl alone. You don't sound like much of a husband or of a man and nobody on here otherwise cares about your health or medical problems.
NOTE: Amlodipine is very common. Here's a little secret: It doesn't actually make you agitated. Your tharapist probably just told you that because he/she probably didnt want to set you off or send you over the edge by telling you that you are some kind of friggin nuts. What I think is that you were probably less than up front with this girl about just how nuts you are and this is the root of the whole thing. Just a guess.
Take some advice: Anyone who makes a single call or email to a girl in a shelter or phones her friends or bothers her in any way, shape, or form is asking to get hosed.
Then: Just move on. Nobody wants to share a house with a nutjob
