With the new CBP process, a CBP officer will stamp the travel document of each arriving non-immigrant traveler. The admission stamp will show the date of admission, class of admission, and the date that the traveler is admitted until. Travelers will also receive on arrival a flier alerting them to go to CBP.gov/I94 for their admission record information.
    CBP.gov/I94

Travelers will not need to do anything differently upon exiting the U.S. Travelers previously issued a paper Form I-94 would surrender it to the commercial carrier or to CBP upon departure. If travelers did not receive a paper Form I-94, CBP will record the departure electronically via manifest information provided by the carrier or by CBP.

As promised, here's my interview experience. Interview was scheduled for 9.30am, I arrived at 9am. The line was a bit long and slow, got to the 15th floor about 9.20am. Handed in my appointment letter at window 1 and sat for just under 2 hours before my name was actually called. I was interview by Officer Jordan, she was not rude or mean but very professional, serious and got down to business. I swore to tell the truth and she asked me to have a seat. I took out my envelope to give her my updated trips that I had taken for my job. She said she didn't want to see anything unless she asked for it. She told me to put everything down on the table and not to give her anything unless she asked. She asked for all my passports that I've used, green card and driver's license. She ran through them quickly and then got into the English part of the test. Don't remember the line she asked me to read but I had to write "We pay taxes. She then had me sign a paper and we then got into the civics part of the test. 1. What is freedom of religion 2. Name one state that borders canada 3. What ocean is to the east of the United States 4. When was the constitution written 5. How many US senators are they 6. When must all men register for the selective service. I answered all correctly and then she asked me to sign another paper. She asked when was the last time I left the US, I told her I left on 13 APR to Paris and returned yesterday. She then started with the yes and no questions, then finally she got to my trips and she asked if that was all the trips I had taken out of the US (I had listed 3 trips). I told her I have an updated copy, she took a look at it. I had a total of 33 trips and 82 days out of the US. She asked if I was still employed with my employer to which I answered yes. She then asked if I had any proof that I was registered with the selective service, I gave her a copy. She then give me a paper saying I passed the Civics and English part of the test and also congratulations, you are recommended for approval. She asked if I had any questions for her, I looked at her with a huge smile and said no and finally she smiled back at me. She told me to take a seat until they called my name. I went back to the waiting area and waited for about 4 hours until they called. They took my green card, asked me to verify that the information on the certificate was correct, I signed the certificate and was once again congratulated. I was told that the Oath will be at 4.30pm. At 4.30 we all gathered into the room for the Oath but unfortunately it was the last oath of the day and they were still interviewing more people and printing certificates. The Oath was now delayed for another hour and 30 mins. Finally we all took the Oath and collected our certificates and I was out the building. Just like that I became a US citizen. Long day but well worth it. I spent a total of 8 and a half hours at USCIS today. Thanks to everyone on this forum for all your help throughout the past 4 1/2 months and I wish each and everyone of you the best of luck in your journey to becoming a US Citizen and after becoming a citizen. I can finally say my USCIS journey is finally over. It was a long one but a bitter sweet ending. God Bless you all.

We are in Philly and sent our application on December 8, 2012 and were just recently scheduled for the interview (for March 4th, 2013.) I can't see where you are far off target (yet.) I understand this is not an exact science and was (pleasantly) surprised ours got scheduled as quickly as it did. I don't think you have anything to worry about. Relax and be patient. Good luck !

You're not waited as much as I have waited for this PD becomes current, Last year I had constant 9 months pd current and suddenly went back 3 years..when my wife already miss her interview date too. Please be realistic, I do understand that "waiting" is worst part of F2A processing, You and I also knew that thousands of cases were filed in mid 2010 which made PD2008 waited for 6-12 months.
OP is dreamistic..not Optimistic, Do calculate yourself! you'll have the answer!!
I hope DOS will finish 2008/2009 PD within next few months.....

MB, now USC process is bit faster (average 5 months for most ASC) compared to our time in the past. It took around 10 or 11 months for me in 2007.

Visa Bulletin Predictions and Updates from Charles Oppenheim
    September 23rd, 2010 | Category: Articles,News
Yesterday our office attended a American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) discussion session here in Washington, DC with Charles Oppenheim. Mr. Oppenheim is the Chief of the Visa Control and Reporting Division at the U.S. Department of State. For many, he is simply known as the person responsible for the monthly and annual visa number allocations for family- and employment-based green cards. He is also the person who prepares and publishes the monthly visa bulletin which is highly anticipated every month.
We are asked on a daily basis by our clients to provide visa bulletin predictions and when a particular priority date may become current. As a result, on behalf of our clients, we appreciate the opportunity Mr. Oppenheim has afforded us to get some advance sense of the movement of the priority dates.
    General Visa Number Trends
Mr. Oppenheim noted that in the employment-based context, each green card application case is larger than previously expected (because many primary beneficiaries have married and have children). As a result, and in recognition of the fact that many EB-3 India and China candidates are now eligible for and applying under the EB-2 category, Mr. Oppenheim noted that the employment-based visa numbers are expected to remain oversubscribed and to move slowly forward.
With respect to family-based cases, Mr. Oppenheim noted that the demand, especially in the FB2 category has been much lower than anticipated and as a result the FB2 category has noted significant forward movement over the past few months and that this aggressive forward movement is expected to continue. Mr. Oppenheim that the FB2A forward movement is unprecedented and provides a rare opportunity to file family-based green card applications
    Visa Bulletin Predictions – Employment-Based
Mr. Oppenheim was able to provide some predictions and expectations for movement of visa numbers over the next few months. Please note that these are short-term predictions and depending on the number of applications as a result of the next few months’ visa numbers, the rate of cutoff date movement may change.
EB-3 Rest of World (ROW). This category is expected to move very slightly forward or to remain unchanged in the November 2010 visa bulletin. The reason is the high number of applications waiting for a visa number in this category.
EB-3 China and EB-2 China. These two categories are expected to move slowly over the next few months – by one or two weeks at a time for the next few visa bulletins.
EB-3 India. Similarly, this category is expected to move very slowly over the next few visa bulletins — perhaps by one or two weeks at a time.
EB-2 India. This category is expected to remain unchanged or to move very slowly forward (by a week or so) in the short-term. This is mainly caused by the fact that many EB-3 India applicants (there are approximately 60,000 EB-3 India pending cases) are “porting” their priority dates into the EB-2 India category and are thus taking visa numbers.
    Visa Bulletin Predictions – Family-Based
Mr. Oppenheim was also able to provide some predictions and expectations for movement of the family-based visa numbers over the next few months. Unlike the employment-based visa numbers, which are expected to advance very slowly over the next few months, the family-based visa numbers, especially in the 2A category are expected to continue to advance consistently and relatively quickly.
FB 2A. According to Mr. Oppenheim, this family-based category has shown a very low demand over the past months; accordingly, Mr. Oppenheim expects that the 2A category (spouses and children of permanent residents) will continue to move forward aggressively and by the February 2011 visa bulletin, this category may be current or close to being current.
FB 2B. Similarly, movement in the 2B category has been faster than anticipated due to low demand; accordingly faster forward movement in this category is also expected.
    Conclusion
Mr. Oppenheim’s comments are extremely helpful to get a sense of the visa cutoff dates over the next few months. Although our employment-based clients may be disappointed by the slow forward movement which is expected, our family-based clients should consider preparing and filing family-based applications, especially in the FB2A and FB2B categories which are expected to note significant forward movement in the near future.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if we can review your case or answer any questions. We also invite you to subscribe to our free weekly immigration newsletter to receive timely updates on this and related topics.

What you want to do is download Foxit Reader from http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/reader/.
You can fill out any PDF using this application. You can change the font size, color, type, etc. You never have to say, "Gosh darn it, I ran out of space on this little box to type my long a55 Indian name." You can just reduce the font size and fit your mile-long name in the box. Once you are done, you can save the PDF with your data. Even if originally the PDF was un-save-able. You can edit the saved data more and save again later or print. Another thing you can do is install a PDF printer on your computer. Download PDFCreator from here http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/ Once you are done entering data on your PDF, you simply print your document. But instead of selecting your printer, select PDFCreator. You will get a dialog box to save your PDF where ever you want to save it. And there you have it, friends.

SAVE database will be updated in 15 working days after POE. That's 3 calendar weeks. That's why I told you to hold 3 weeks after POE.
It is nothing but the POE information transmission to process the SSN.

Everything is good except I didn't get a raise. The boss says the raise raising is not until March. And he didn't confirm or deny if I will get one. I'm just going to be pessimistic and say I probably won't get one. Oh well. I AM happy about getting the Mrs. over here and generally being away for two weeks. If only my mother was completely better, I could let go completely. Now I can't really have a lot of fun without feeling guilty. But I'm happy with what I have. I have my family and soon my wife, my heart, my soul, and probably my everything.

Hey, glad to see everyone's progress here! I am leaving for Palestine on Wednesday, and I am bringing some evidence with me to give to my wife for her interview. I would like to list it here, and if there is something else someone could think of, let me know.
-Skype Call Records (over 250 pages on legal paper, and Skype would only let me go back 6 months)
-T-Mobile call records directly to my wife's mobile number
-Notarized/Sworn affidavits from my parents expressing their knowledge and support for our marriage
-Notarized/Sworn affidavits from her parents expressing their knowledge and support for our marriage]
-Notarized/Sworn affidavits from 2 friends of mine and 2 friends of hers expressing their knowledge and support for our marriage
    -Copies of e-mails sent
-Pictures of our mobile phones displaying the text messages (as there are no phones allowed in the consulate)
-I will give her my wedding ring which bears the same engraving (our names & date of marriage contract) as her wedding and an earlier ring she gave me in 2008 that has her named engraved.
    -100 informal pictures
    -25 engagement party photos
    -25 wedding party photos
    -One engagement party invitation
    -One marriage party invitation
-Copies of my passport that show entry into Jordan/Palestine
-Copies of her passport that show stamps with same date of leaving Palestine as I did (she basically traveled to Jordan with me to say farewell when I returned to the U.S.)
-Pictures of her gold that was given as the dowry
    -My 3 year tax transcripts
-My co-sponsor 3 year tax transcripts
-Copy of my biographical page of my passport
-Copy of co-sponsor's biographical page of passport
-Transcripts from the university I attended to show the dates and hours I was enrolled in school and couldn't have possibly been working a full time job to meet the income requirements
-Letter from Human Resources of my university that stated the amount of hours I was allowed to work a week as a student assistant (18.5) and the wage I was making (7.50), (again to show why my tax return was so low)
    -Copy of my university degree
-Notarized employment letter of my current job, giving rational to my degree/major, and showing my hourly/wage plus over time as well as my span of employment
-And my business card for good measure.
I will organize it all neatly and give it to her. I will also instruct her not to give them any evidence unless they ask for it.
    What do you all think?

Points, scored. Look at you! Totally a considerate husband! That was very nice of you.
My wife birthday was around when my mother had the stroke. My wife and her family were planning a big birthday party since it was her last with her parents, and first after out marriage. They cancelled it and instead used all of the money feed orphans. That was very nice of them. No? I cannot speak a like but that made me cry and my affinity toward my wife became that much more stronger.

Right now there is no data for Priority dates which are same for few months..This we are seeing right now..So, Still PD for F4 in March Bulletin is a Mystery..
