    I agree with that.
I'm sorry he feels the pain right now.
The anger coming from him baffled me.
The way he even talks about the ex is scary. It's always somebody else's fault. There is always someone else to blame.
And frankly, the "Russian Wife dream"??? Really?

the processing time is 5 months, if they are within their 5 months then you have nothing to complain about. if you get yours before your 5 months is up, then consider yourself lucky, but unless you PASS 5 months, come on people, stop complaing, we are ALL in the same boat as you. you are not the first people to wait this long, in fact i know couples that have had to wait years to be together, and in the grand scheme of things, 5 months is nothing.
anyone who had done any research on visa approval would know this was a long process before they even embarked on it in the first place and yet everyone is acting like they are the only ones going through this and that it's some horrible injustice that they have to wait their turn like everyone else.

This is all true, but I don't think it's appropriate or necessary to try to tell people they are not allowed to feel frustrated. If you've tracked this site at all, you will see that the service centers speed up and slow down unexpectedly and that is difficult to watch sometimes. Before you send your packet in, you see people receiving approvals in 2 months and then when it's your turn the service centers have hit a slow patch and it's back up at 5 months, all the while knowing it takes maybe a total of 15 minutes to look at a petition; that can be difficult. Nobody is acting like they're the only ones going through this. Everyone is allowed to be sad or lonely or frustrated. It's difficult to try to do the right thing and be legit and be given the run-around for an uncertain amount of time. I notice that your country is listed as the UK, which means that your consulate will also take a few months to go through; as a Canadian going through Montreal, I'm in the same boat, and on top of a long NOA2 wait being irritating in the first place, it adds extra stress because I know I'll likely have another 4-6 months with my embassy stage right after it. If the whole process, start to finish, took 5 months as you seem to be suggesting it does, I think it would be a lot easier to swallow.
I'm glad that you seem to be impervious to being frustrated or sad, but the rest of us are perfectly entitled to express those feelings. That's what these threads are for - support. If you have nothing to offer besides judgmental criticism and if everyone else's feelings bother you so much, I'm not sure why you're reading this forum, especially since this thread isn't even for your service center. I'm not saying you have to agree with anybody, but your snotty comment was unwarranted. People miss their loved ones and not everyone is as lucky as you to have an NOA2 in hand already.
