If my sister was working at DHS, I wouldn't wait 6-months then send an email to somebody at USCIS in DC. That's just me though. I'm not buying any of this tomfoolery.

My email was very simple, I put the cases #s as email title :
"Dear Sirs,
We have filed the petitions July 27 2010 (NOA1) on November 3 2010 they were transferred from California Service Center to Texas Service Center. We have not had any update on our cases since November 24 2010.
Can you please inform us whether when the petitions are being processed?
Looking forward to having your feedback."

I've been waiting for so long, they know it, so I think I don't need to write more than what the real situation is as far as they are concerned.

By the way about the five months goal from USCIS as you have already seen in the other post's and spreadsheets a lot of people have been approve earlier than 5 months and a lot of people later, but the hope of every VJ filler is to be with the loved one asap and this is hope and also reality life.

I third that! And I think Jennie got "touches" is because she updated her beneficiary's address a few days prior. I should do that, just so I can see one measly touch. But I really do believe it doesn't matter. We'll get our approval, touches or not!

I think the site is becoming a battalion of hypocrites, Lotto has been very helpful to this site regardless of how correct he might have been or not, he does not deserve to be treated this way in the forums. If that's the way things are conducted in here and especially by the supposedly "moderators" I too do not want to be here.
The most reasonable thing to do would have to show Lotto in a conclusive matter how he erred in his advices if he did indeed!! I don't think his initial intent was to advise anyone to commit fraud, he was actually offering options. I have absolutely no interest in taking side here, I read the exchanges in the other thread and I still think it was unjust and unfair to treat him or anyone the way he was treated. Can anyone prove that his intentions was to advise of committing immigration fraud? [rhetorical question] hummm strange people in here for sure. I regret that he's leaving the forums I'd have hoped he would stay however if you go, all my best Lotto!!!! if you find an alternative please let's us know!
