Oh. STOP THIS NONSENSE.. The OP's Original Thread States; I think I made a Mistake ! (After already Mailing the Application 3 days Ago.) Yes, it was a serious mistake but this is where we attempt to help the Member and NOT Lecture them.
I certainly agree 300 pages is not required and will not be read anyways by USCIS. A few will do (Communication.) I do admit that this member left out IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS "REQUIRED". Hard Lesson there !
USCIS "Cannot" Complete a Investigation of the Petitioner/Beneficiary without these documents. Thats why we wait 4 to 7 months in some cases.
I read VJ Forums alot and what Members Posted before I even met my Fiancee and after looking at good advice and bad advice hired an Attourney since there is such a separation of Good Advive, Bad Advice and Members Playing God on this Forum.
Seems for SOME MEMBERS ONLY, the futhur you get Approved for this and for that you forgot it is a HELP FORUM.
Personally, Me and Mav are still awaiting NOA2. (5 Months on this Tuesday.) But that does'nt stop me from trying to imput their situation when I think I might be able to help SOME.
Advice is good but not to Play God or act like an Attouney.
Looking at VJ. Thats why I hired an Attourney. When you post something: You never know if a HATER will reply. I don't think I would risk that.
I'm sure hate replies will come to me but, $1,500.00 for the Attourney for the rest of my life is better than watching the fighting here sometimes.
Just my thought. When I reply to a Member Post, I try and help. Not give them S.......

    LIST OF 26
All non-immigrant visa applicants who are citizens or nationals of the listed 26 countries are subject to additional security requirements in every area of the visa application process. The listed countries are: Afghanistan; Algeria; Bahrain; Djibouti; Egypt; Eritrea; Indonesia; Iran; Iraq; Jordan; Kuwait; Lebanon; Libya; Malaysia; Morocco; Oman; Pakistan; Qatar; Saudi Arabia; Somalia; Sudan; Syria; Tunisia; Turkey; United Arab Emirates; and Yemen. The additional security clearance can take 20 days or longer to process. Please keep in mind that the State Department can require this security clearance for any visa applicant.
*based on AP forum, it looks like they do these checks for immigrant applicants as well.

Less than one year ago, you were posting about expediting a petition because your wife in the USA was pregnant and you wanted to come here sooner and help her. A few months after that, you were posting about co sponsors.
You're coming on here telling us now that the entire time your pregnant wife was struggling here in America, you've been chatting with another American woman online, YOU have been paying for long distance calls to talk to her (when you have a wife and child to support in the US), and you have this other woman coming to Morocco to visit you!?
Perhaps you should tell this other woman that you're married to another American and have a child here, instead of trying to scam her by telling her you're eligible for a K1.
You'd never get past the consulate in Casablanca anyway. Go ahead and try all you want.

    Hello All,
Looking for advice. I think I know the best route but I wanted to see what others think or have done.
My fiances son will be obtaining a K-2 to follow. We are hoping my fiance will have the K1 next month (Peru consulate interview is about 1 month from NOA2 date). We would like to bring my fiances son here in July and so he can start school in August. We are thinking it would be best this way so my fiance has some time to adjust, find work, etc.
My question is about when to have the K2 issued. Initially I wanted to have the K1/K2 issued together, but I believe the K2 will expire in 6 months. I really wanted to avoid going for the medical twice and the embassy twice and waiting on the visa to be issued twice and not being able to schedule plane tix until the last minute twice. We would like to use the K2 within the six months, but if my fiance does not have travel papers, we will be waiting on that to visit Peru again..... unless we can arrange for a family member to escort the boy here ( he will be 9 yrs old then).
It seems like I need to wait to have the K2 issued and follow procedures
    Thanks for any advice!

how do you know even more experienced people are in the K-1 forum MORE than the embassy forum? The K-1 gets more posts because people don't think and they just post any thread topic to the K-1 forum...
Do you think jim, gary and push just troll the K-1 forum? do you know about the "view new content" button? all the "experienced" members do. If you put it in the right forum it will be seen by jim, gary and push as well as a host of others...
just an aside... your answer is consulate specific so I am not sure Jim, Push or Gary will know the answer exactly... but common sense would dictate rather than waiting for some members of a immigration info board to happen upon your topic, to just do it yourself and ask. All consulates have e-mail accounts and as you mention fax numbers, and since a K-1 is handled by the IV unit... I guess you can tell which one to contact

Uh.... was that directed at me? Sorry it took me so long to reply, but I had to shine my 'rose coloured glasses'... btw it's not, "blind, wearing (no transparent at all) glasses".
But if you're insinuating I was saving the reputation of the USCIS, let me show you what it looks like from inside my glasses. I promise to be as transparent as I can, OK?
I don't think I've said one thing regarding my position on the TPS immigrants (Haitians), nor the backlog at the VSC in any of my posts on this thread.
I said it was extremely insensitive and selfish of the OP to [attempt to] use a tragic incident to gain approval on a K-1 expedite for his fiance. To use such is an absolute mockery of the US Govt & to those personnel who work in war zones and risk their lives for us, HERE AT HOME. What others have said and I agree with, is that the Expedite is for the USC and there must be a hardship / emergency to be eligible.
    Is that clear enough? Crystal?

Ohhhhhhhh my gawwwwwwwd.... I'm not going to sugarcoat what I have to say to you AL, as you continue to offend our Government, it's people and foreign nationals who are in tragic situations!

Will you & YOUR BRIDE be booking flights thru that same airport you do not want her exposed to? Could you not comprehend how sensitive this subject is for many of us? Afterall, you did say, " Yesterday, January 24, there was a devastating terror attack in Domodedovo Airport in Moscow..........I do not want my bride to live in a country where there is an active terrorist group on the loose that made a mass strike in an airport she uses all of the time." Your'e right, I don't like your tactics; they're annoying & objectionable due to being a showoff and the only pursuit I see you have is attracting undue attention to oneself. You may not bathe in the luxury of what others think of you, but don't impose the rest of us to your junk either! Beneath anger is fear. What are you so afraid of?? Honestly, you sound like a 53yr old little boy who didn't get picked to play on the better team! Your last post? Good! Take your ball and go home!!! Come back when you get a postive attitude. And as for your closing statement, "happy now?"...... What do you think? By the way, your comment about our Military being expedited 'because they deserve it'? Even if we were offered such, my fiance, nor I, would take it because there are a bazillion other US CIVILIANS WE RESPECT and we will not cut in line to do as you say," Anything to cut this hideous delay by any amount of time, even by one day, is something I will do without doubt or hesitation of any kind."

All of your Topics, and most of your posts this past week have been notoriously obnoxious and wordy (imho). The only point I read, was the fact that you have been grossly obsessed with the TPS program and the Haitians! OK WE GET IT! You are against their expedited Visas! That was yesterday's news! Now what? This topic has been very offensive to many as I stated earlier. Isn't it strange that the only common denominator is you and your bride weaved throughout the fabic sending a message, "It's all about ME"?
Here is a picture of what I've seen today and why I found your post distasteful. THIS IS WHERE MY GROOM IS! This has been going on all week! Now please, leave it.

Good Heavens. I thought you were working on your other topic, RE: your letter. Now I'm seeing this post which very much annoys me.
You know what? My fiance is on at the USAF Base in Iraq. Just this morning he called to tell me there has been bombings in Baghdad and its not safe to travel. If its not safe, then military will NOT let the contractors off base to go home! And guess what?? I get to deal with it and so does he. That's the way it is. In fact, if we did get our NOA2 now, and he was scheduled for interview there is a very good chance he wouldn't make it because of situations such as this!!!
And while this is tragic in Russia, and SEVERAL OTHER COUNTRIES whom have been terrorized, there is not one day I don't worry he'll call me during our very limited 3 min phone connection before we lose signal just to say they're going to bunker and he'll call when its safe! That happened on Christmas Morning Al, and you have no idea what I went through for 3 days of silence until he called. And still, I don't get on the forum to whine and complain about it, or grab at straws for an expedited case file.
What you say here is a mockery of the US Govt. for attempting to use this tragic event of others and seeminly selfish of you to even think this is a way to get YOUR BRIDE here any earlier then the rest who wait patiently! Especially, for those who have remained calm, waiting for the day they see their [future] Husband or Wife come home from a war zone and knowing their life is on the line!
I think it was already stated by Bob and Jim that an Expedite is for the USC and it requires a hardship / emergency.
We didn't need this... it was offensive.

Yeah - ok, we all know the waiting sucks, and I'm SO thankful to have found VJ, because only the people here understand what I am going through. Each person deals with the waiting differently, and that is what makes us DIFFERENT. So let us freak out, let us complain about VSC and USCIS and whoever else we feel like complaining.
Stop attacking the people who come here to vent their frustrations with the system. Personally I am sick and tired of waiting, and it doesn't matter how many times people tell me to suck it up and wait, I am still going to blame VSC for the worst 5 months of my life.
I am stressed out, can't sleep, having enough problems as it is, so yeah, I'm gonna log on the VJ, check that my timeline has yet again been pushed back, see that no one has been approved my VSC today and HELL YEAH I'm gonna get pissed off about it. I KNOW is not "accurate" information, but its a pretty good sample in my opinion.
So for all you people who already have your NOA2 and got it in less than 5 months, and for all of you super strong people who can wait for your approval forever, please, just please, let us come in here and complain, if that will make us feel better.

Their first and biggest mistake is working on the wrong applications. TPS petitions are charity petitions and clearly not the first order of business for an agency of the United States Government. The needs of its citizens come fist. Push the TPS stuff to the side, and 360,000 petitions are now out of their way.
Now the desk is clear, and they are free to work on the important applications, the ones by United States citizens.
There was a time that Vermont was approving I129f petitions in 30 days. So it can be done. All they need is to do what they were doing in 2004 through 2009. They did it correctly then, and they can do it now.
Their first mistake was to take in TPS applications in the first place. Their second mistake was to compound their first mistake by giving these unwanted TPS applications the priority they clearly do not deserve.
Go back to what worked, the way they used to do it. Forget TPS. There are no resources for such things. Let other countries like Canada and Brazil be the do-gooders of the world for a change. We did it for far too many years.

With the newest numbers in, Vermont processed 21,295 TPS applications in the month of November last year, but only 866 I-129F's!!..... This is pitifull, and is the lowest number of completions of I-129f's in the last two years and shows no signs of improving anytime soon.
They are working on other petitions, but not fiance ones in any great numbers. And until they start pushing out more completions than receipts, this backlog is going to go up very quickly
Get ready for a 7 month average processing time for I-129F's in the coming year.

There are numerous improvements they can make right now without spending any money:
    1. Stop giving preferences to petitioners who happen to belong to one specific ethnic group.
    2. Process petitions in the EXACT order they come in.
    3. Give useful answers to our calls instead of reading excuses off of a sheet.
    4. Stop entertaining fantasies like "VCS has no backlog".
Although I feel that the United States has zero responsibility to give away our resources to other countries based on need, if Congress is going to do that with immigration resources, don't dump the whole load on us! There are 300 million people in this country. Spend tax money to fund projects like these instead of taking resources away from people who just want to get married.
Thank you again for the information, as I intend to put it to good use. I will raise a stink at my Congressman's office about how most of us are getting screwed so they can give priority processing to members of one particular race. The last time I checked, there were laws which said that the government can't do that.

In other words, we are getting surcharged for the privilege of getting pushed to the back of the line so a specific ethnic group can get priority service.
This would be the same as if blacks in the South in the 1950s were surcharged to ride in the back of the bus so white people could get reduced fare.
I do not fault the Haitian poster here for getting his expedite. He has a responsibility to his fiance to get her here in the minimum possible amount of time, and if he is given an edge, he does not have the luxury of deciding that the edge is not morally correct. The edge was there, and whether it was fair or not, he used it.
I won't draw any conclusions about what is happening lately because a bunch of people will jump down my throat just like they did in another thread yesterday because I did not write what they wanted to read. So draw your own conclusions from the e-mail I pasted into my earlier post, what the director said, and the fact that both VSC and CSC have appeared to grid to a halt on I129f petitions after hoping that two weeks of a little action would shut us up for a while.
