mabilis lang mga 4 working days para dun sa old SSN ko tapos yung sa New SSN ko under my Husband name 2 workind days lang.

actually you can get married in UAE as long as both of you are Muslim but if your planning a judge wedding its not possible unless one of you are a local emirati residence.

well after we've got married we went back to SSN office to change my old name to my married name and after 3 days I've got my revised SSN with my husband surname on it.

Basically Jeff and Emily after 2 weeks of her POE here in the USA she can apply for her SSN and once the marriage is done you can go back to SSN office along with her old SSN card to change her Surname to her married name take note you have to went back to SSN office 30 days before expiration of her I-94 bec. she cannot change her SSN surname anymore after that.

SSN is always required either on a Bank and Medical transaction bec. that is the only ID for her while shes waiting for her GC besides her passport.

Hey Chu ok lang medyo boring minsan kc laging nasa work hubby koh pero ok lang... sa Feb. 24 pa kasal namin were still completing the requirements and details for the wedding.

yup I collected my passport with my K1 Visa yesterday 18th of Jan. My hubby booked my ticket on 20th of Jan. (3:00 am) so I'm leaving tonight from Rak to pick-up my sister in ajman and go to Dubai Airport my POE is at DALLAS.

Because you mentioned that you have to wait till Jan 18 to pick up your passport with the visa...

Nope they didn't verbally told me I'm approved the C.O. (consular officer) just said "If everything is Ok we will issue your visa on the date mention on the pink slip" normally if you received pink slip it means you passed your interview and they just need to double check the doc's you have been submitted to them but if you received Blue slip it means its either you failed your interview or they put ON-HOLD (A.P. administrative processing) of your application for whatever ...

ako malapit na din matapos arranging the papers. my schedule still the same. Sana ibigay nlang nila sa akin yung sched ni Jhun&Jheng kasi bakante na yun. Sa January sent ako ulit ng email hoping they can change my date of interview.

wow from NOA2 to Interview date takes almost 6months?!!! HOW?

normally it should be 2 to 3 months only but for some reason for all K-1 interview in ABDB embassy was scheduled for 2012 and I guess were still lucky to have Jan. 10,2012 beginning of the year interview date.

it will took only 1 to 2 working days, cause for me it took like 12 days due to EID holiday last whole week. BTW don't apply yet cause police clearance will be expired after 3 months. I didn't know before that's why I have to re-apply on December again.

still waiting for embassy notice for interview.. i know it will be soon..

we are wondering why until now we did not receive instructions from embassy yet? its been more than a month now since we got the NOA2. do we need to contact them now or should we wait?

Hi shee.laugh yup pwede na mag pa medical as long as its less than 6 months kc its valid only within 6 months... I have Insurance too but I didn't try to use it. I think you can try to use it but make sure you have some money with you in case they didn't accept your insurance.

I called NMC in Dubai they said I should pay by cash... i am still waiting for my interview sched didnt receive any call pa from NVC or USEM AD :-(

the interview appointment will be sent to your fiance in the US via E-mail normally it will take few days or few weeks to received the interview appointment and yup actually I paid in cash too.
