Yagisama got a reaction from MrsISantiago in Need Help with form I-90 Part 3 Processing Information
Thanks so much for your reply!

I looked at her conditional greencard and saw that the location was MSC

Does this mean I should put Missouri Service Center for question one?

For question 2, I'm pretty sure it was the Los Angeles field office where we did the interview.

It's strange they bother to ask these questions, especially since the online I-90 application asks for scans/photos of the greencard.

    Thanks again for your help!

Just to make a quick follow up. By "extra information" I meant the actual service center in the back of the conditional green card stated Missouri Service Center, which I wasn't aware of during my original post. And that's what I ended up using. But really, USCIS has all the information and I doubt any of these responses really matter.

For anyone curious this is what I ended up writing on the form. The actual service center we applied to and the location of the USCIS office for the interview. There was no interview for the 10 year green card.

    Part 3. Processing Information
    1. Location where you applied for your immigrant visa or adjustment of status - Missouri Service Center
    2. Location where your immigrant visa was issued or USCIS office where you were granted adjustment of status Los Angeles CA

Anyhow, there was no need for any biometrics and we got the renewed greencard today 17 days after we did the online application. Very easy and quick!

The city the LPR lived in when I-485 was filed:

The USCIS office with jurisdiction over the LPR at the time I-485 was approved.
    no
If the LPR lived in Los Angeles, yes.

I have no idea why uscis asks these useless questions. Or why USCIS does not simply the answers on the GC like it used to.

Yagisama got a reaction from Van jones in If K-1 Visa Fiance does not marry within 90 days can she stay?
There is no "some say this" or "some say that." The law is very specific here. The K-1 visa allows for a one time entry in order for a US Citizen and a foreign national to get married and then allows the foreign national to apply for an adjustment of status which can lead to long term residency.
The goal of her coming to the US was to marry this person. If this doesn't happen, she needs to go back.

WOW so we are advocating that the VISA is the golden ticket and whether the US citizen wants you or not come on over because well it’s okay really.
Do we even know the whole story? Sorry to play devil’s advocate here. But I have issue with someone saying “I have my own money and I have friends in US”. So what bump the US citizen who is on the hook for your butt. Seems you already have your plan laid out and could careless whether he “comes around” or not. Really?
If this was a K1 person and they said he or she broke up with me but I am coming (It was posted here 2 weeks ago). She was jumped on with all 4’s . How dare she come here when she wasn’t wanted. Why would she come if she wasn’t wanted. Yet here you go promoting someone come here, live where they want, do what they want.
I thought it was a spousal Visa. Meaning you are coming to live with the spouse.
A visa should be the LAST thing you should be focused on. Your marriage should be first and foremost. Damn the Visa. Good grief.

If his green card was taken away, he's not a citizen or LPR anymore.
One less gang member around is to the benefit of us all, anyway.

My wife still has her Japanese credit cards and we still sometimes use them (when ordering from Amazon JP). But really, having credit cards is easy (I have 10+) it's paying the bill at the end of the month that's the issue.

I am not saying this the case here, but people should watch for RED FLAGS, I am sorry but this bs of women in hers 20/25 with man 50/55 for me is a RED RED RED flag, with a few exceptions, man sending money to the woman as soon they start dating, one, two visits and get married, dating 2/5months and proposal etc..the list is huge , people need just to pay attention to these signs.

    Philippines= High fraud country.
Lots of young women from the Philippines wanting a better standard of life. Green card seems to be the accepted way. The way to do this is snag an American husband
There are lots of American men (generally older men) looking for young women to marry who are probably less demanding and not so sure of themselves as American women.
This leads to this situation a lot. Guys on here posting how their wife left them as soon their green cards arrived.
Or The wife posting on here on how their American husband suddenly changed and became aggressive and abused them, so they left.

in truth, any of those listed options will work,
    however,
you should engage with an Immigration Liason Staffer* on Monday, instead.
    * This is a human at yer Congressman's office, they communicate directly with USCIS office staff, always a Congressional Liason Human inside of USCIS. Call around at the various offices, ask who handles immigration stuff - get the name, email address, and fax number.
Firstly - find a congressman this weekend (senator or representative). Study their website. Most have the privacy-act form for release of information that you need to fill out. Prep your letter of inquiry. You probably got a receipt ticket something from that infopass appointment. Prep your scans/pdf files, etc, and :
    0. Talk with the ILS Human via phone.
    1. fax all to the ILS Human.
    2. email all to the ILS Human
    3. Talk with the ILS Human a second time , expressing the urgency of the matter.
IMO, the ILS Human will get it done quicker.
What you want to happen is for the withdrawal done at the infopass to be retro-actively handled,
the 'as of' date being the date you handed it over,
and the further production of the card stopped.
Calm down a bit, prep yer stuff this weekend, pull the trigger on Monday with an ILS Human. You've a very small window to be productive.

Yagisama reacted to Udella&Wiz in How much money your husband gives you per month?
My husband didn't 'give' me money. We entered into a marriage and share everything jointly. During the period I couldn't work before EAD I still had some income to contribute to our overall monthly total and we had savings to use. We considered it 1 big pot and we worked through having a budget until I started working so that everyone could feel like they could spend a little without feeling guilty.
I now handle scheduling the bills just because its my nature to be efficient at that type of thing. My husband was just as good at it but we worked it out that way.
Marriage is a partnership and should never be anything less or one-sided. Speaking up for what you need and expect is key. Its not about demanding, its about open communication so that everyone knows what is happening.

I second this, sounds like OP is only interested in living in the US no matter what it takes. That's not what the K-1 is meant to be for. It's to be with someone you love who happens to live in the US.

As you entered on a K1, adjustment of status can only be made on the condition that you married your sponsoring fiancé within the 90 days of your entry. You have to leave before the 90 days are up.

Yagisama got a reaction from Ivie & Eguagie in Racism???
I can imagine subtle racism being more prevalent in Oklahoma than elsewhere. We're been living in OKC for the last year though temporarily for my work. I have noticed situations where staff are very cordial and playful with a person and then completely change when dealing with persons of other ethnicity. My advice would be not to worry about it too much and move on. I know it's easier said than done but don't dwell on it.
