My mom was the principal applicants so they didnt ask me much..jst my age n wht do i study.Thy only asked my mom things like....how did the petitioner went to america?whn ws the last time they came to Bangladesh?who came with thm?why did thy cme?whr does the petitioner live?
Thy jst go through the pictures to make sure u r actual brother/sister of the petitioner so it's better if u take old pictures with the petitioner and this makes it easier for them to approve ur visa.Old pictures will save you from tons of other silly questions. They jst commented on our old pictures and really liked them. Then they told us tht thy r approving our visa.

Alright, I could sound too harsh but I am not seeing any positive side of all these terms and conditions mentioned over here.
We need to understand first that why we are so obsessed to move to US. There are multiple reason such as:
1. Over populated world we are belong to.
2. Corrupted countries we are living in.
3. Living conditions are miserable.
4. An average men need to work really hard to survive to earn bread and butter.
If all these conditions given above will gonna make happen and implemented in near future then I am seeing an over populated America. Hence, US become another over populated country like ours. Throat cut competition will be seeing in near future for survival, which gonna result in corruption eventually.
Today, USA is the most richest and prosperous country in the world bcoz of its Discipline which they truly implies in their law and their govt. and business policies.
We all are waiting desperately but try to analyse the other side of this spectrum. If all the people around the world will jump into that country at once then what will we gonna enjoy?? .... I think nothing instead of competing with each other like we are doing right now in third world countries. Especially, here in India, where there is no value of education we have experiencing it right now, I have seen many engineers and MBA's in every third house and nobody's earning well enough as equivalent to high school pass out american citizen.
Whosoever people are sitting out there in Washington DC are more capable and intelligent than us. They know better about that country and understand its problems better than us. I thin we should leave this complicated matter to those intellectual people to decide our faith. Because, in the end we all have to go there but try to think being more reasonable rather than emotional.
Best of luck to you all for your future progress. Cheers and enjoy this game of waiting, these hard times will pay off well. Remember, success doesn't come easily.

Visa Grant reacted to NancyNguyen in I130 approved for Sister - next steps?
F4 visa takes at least 13 years to get visa number. 2011 + 13 = 2024, your nephew will be 23 or 24 by then. Your waiting time of approval was almost 4 years. Based on CSPA, 24 - 4 = 20, your nephew should be able to go with whole family. Good luck.

Latest USCIS Visa Bulletin Predictions
All Categories: Due to executive action signed by US President Obama, DOS is likely to move dates earlier in the year, instead of waiting till the last quarter of fiscal year; since at that time they can get a more accurate view of demand across all categories and hence can more accurately calculate expected spillovers across EB/FB categories.

I think NVC will not send COA until june 2002 will get current as they cant predict because of retrogession in the past.. But will see a great movement ahead of it especially for F4..

Keep patience bro... you will receive your COA in february or march 2015.......
The worst period for F4 category is over now...... The movement will be atleast 12-15 months per year for the next 5 years without any retrogression.... The golden period is yet to come now.... wait and watch.... be positive

Hello everyone,
Apologies for responding late. My intereview was on 6 Jan. First we were called for documentation checking and the indian officer asked following questions :
Who is calling you ?
How long have you been in UAE ? (same question was asked to my husband also.)
What are you working as ? (same question was asked to my husband also.)
Whats your mothers maiden name ? (same question was asked to my husband also.)
She asked my son his age his birthdate and what is he doing in india.
She asked for medical and latest UAE and Indian Consulate PCCs.
She asked for latest tax papers.
She asked if i had latest pay slip of my brother (which my brother had sent that very morning)
She asked If we had joint sponsorship papers - which we said no, and they said its ok.
She asked if we will be flying back to UAE or will be staying in India. We said we have to join back work. She scribbled some note and asked us to wait.
She told us that our docs are in order and final interview will be conducted by US officer. If he feels ok, then he will grant you visa, in that case please travel to US before your son completes age of 16.
After some time we were called for interview by US consular officer and questions asked were :
Who is calling you ?
How long have you been in UAE ? (same question was asked to my husband also.)
What are you working as ? (same question was asked to my husband also.)
When did your brother go to to US ?
In which category did he go to US ?
When did you meet your brother and his family ?
When did he go to India ?
How many kids he has ?
Last question was :
By the way - How is Dubai ? To which we replied its good.
Then he confirmed our deliver address for passports.
He said your visa is approved and you would receive it in 5 workign days. (we got our passports within the time frame).
He said please pay USD 165/- per person for green card before travelling to USA.
Complete process took 3 hours for us.
We noticed few questions where people fumbled for answers are listed as below : These questions if answered wrong may put a person in AP (2 cases in front of us were asked to submit pcc and joint sponsorship forms)
Joint Sponsorship. (in my case they did ask, but when i said i dont have...they said its ok. I guess they check the financial stability of petitioner).
Address of person where they sepcifically asked for pin code. (if you dont know then say so, donot give wrong pincodes One lady gave wrong pincode and the officer was asking her in the application the pincode is different and what you are saying is different, dont know what happend to her later)
Police clearance certificate should be from passport office and not from local police station. (Another applicant submitted local PCC and she said its useless for us you need to give certificate from passport office)
Birth certificates should be translated and from proper issuing authorities.
Questions from D260 online form. In few cases, beneficiary was not aware of answers, as online forms were filled by petitioner. (They were general questions, yet people could not answer like their stay or study or residence or regarding the beneficiary. They would go in details only if they doubt that you are not the same person)
Who has filled the D260 form ? (if you have not filled then say so but donot bluff, as one of the officers was asking one beneficiary in front of us - if you have filled the forms then how come you dont know what you have written. Your answer is not matching to what you have written in the form)
Where do you want your green card to be delivered ( Answer has to be USA Address).
You dont have to mug up or by heart your answers, you need to be confident and honest. They have all the details so please please please donot bluff.
Trust it helps.

I just wish to share this with all of you especially to those applicants who are about to undergo their medical at St. Lukes Clinic in Manila.
My husband is under F4 (Brother of a U.S. Citizen) and me (spouse) and our 2 children are derivatives.
We are set to be interviewed 3rd week of this month.
We are currently based in Singapore and went home to accomplish this requirement.
We had our medical this week. All went well except that my husband has admitted in good faith that he has tried marijuana and shabu about 17 years ago during his younger years. I have been able to read all the threads about admission of past drug use (and I am now fully aware of the negative consequences). Somehow just praying that things will turn around during the interview. Miracle does happen sometimes:)
My husband is all clear except of him being unaware of the complications of his admission.
He has finished his physc evaluation yesterday. I know that the chance of getting our visa approved is very slim now after waiting for more than 24 years before his priority date becomes current. I know consul will take each case differently.
I'm all done thinking about the possibilities and just focus on trusting God's will - whether US is for us or not.
We have a great life in Singapore and this is just an added bonus if we can secure an immigrant visa.
If anyone can share a positive story about approval of visa despite admission of past drug use - would be highly appreciated.
For the benefits of those who are in the same situation as mine - I will continue to update this thread with the result after our interview.
All the best to all immigrant visa aspirants!

After you get the imigration visa ..ur tourist visa will be cancelled...though Principle applicant can travel alone and then later on dependent...
The only rule is ...Principle applicant must enter first ....Dependent can NOT enter before Principle applicant
("Dont take this as legal advice"........)

No. You just need to bring the latest ITR and W2 of your petitioner and joint sponsor (if any). USEM will re-check if their current income meets the poverty guidelines.

During these times of delays...my thoughts would be to attend the interview at the scheduled date. After Visa is approved, you have 6 months from the date of visa issuance to travel to US...You can decide based on this..
Good Luck
