I have been searching for info on this subject, it looks like they have an ASC office in the old consulate in Juarez, I believe it will add a day to the process in Juarez, crud! More money spent on a hotel room in Juarez...can they keep us any longer in that darn city??? As if it is not stressful enough to go there with all the violence! (Ok, done with the whining)We are looking at like 10 days there since we have kids that need to do the 72 hour TB testing...talk about stressful.
My biggest worry is trying to get an apt that fits with flights etc...also I hope it is easy to get apt's & also I hope they leave the fiancee visa interview as an open apt walk-in type thing or else it could literally add months to the process!

So if anyone knows if they are going to leave the K1 as open walk-in apt it would be awesome to have that info...

you fiancee may never recieve her packet due to the mail system in Mexico, but I believe you can bring her your copy & travel with her to Juarez (that is what our plan is)

nope...you can not fix mistakes...but when we called for interview we told the girl we had wrong expiration dates on the passport info of one child...she said to tell them at the interview to please correct it since no one is able to get into the system & make changes

I think it sounds like enough since you have a joint rental agreement, & beneficiary on insurance...heck, that's a lot!!! Print out fotos that you do have & make a statement saying your comunication is in person not email & phone since you wake up and say good morning, buenas dias in person each day!!!

She will not send the stuff to Juarez...she will need to gather it all & bring it in person to her interview.
We are just about a week ahead of you.
CDJ is Cd. Juarez...she will need to go there to interview before she can get her visa.
You will get packet 3 in the mail...and she will as well in Mexico if she lives where they have good mail service. We don't expect the packet 3 to arrive all the way to Cozumel so we are traveling to Cozumel with the packet (copy) we recieve in the USA.
In this packet will be an open interview date letter of invitation, she will need this to interview! DO NOT LOSE IT!!!! just in case she never gets a copy.
She will need everything they ask for in the packet, like police reports saying she has not been convicted of any crimes from every city she has lived in since age 16, plus her pass port, birth certificate (long form original copy...you get these in the town she was born)
You will need to pay in advance online when you reserve your ASC appointment (this is a new thing in Juarez where they take pictures & fingerprints) you will need to get her medical done the day before she plans to interview, and then next day interview! then she may wait several days for the visa to be delivered to DHL (delivery service)

If you are using the US passport as proof of citizenship (for example in the case of naturalization through parents) you will need ALL PAGES copied to show where you have been, or not been... if you do not include a page they will RFE you since you could be hiding a trip to Cuba or some such wild thing from your past LOL!
If you are trying to show that you have visited your fiancee in the past 2 years by passport stamps, just those pages will provide proof, however I would copy every page so the Gov't knows you are not trying to hide something on the 'not' included pages.
