By the way Kathleen, they already received their SSN last week. I was surprise that in abut 2 weeks time we got the SSN already. Still waiting for the greencard though.

So sorry for the late reply, kindda busy for the past few days. Finally completete na gyud mi. Its a long trip back to the US coz of flight delays in HK due to typhoon, so we end up missing our connection flight from SF to DFW so CX has to booked us overnight in SFO.

When are you leaving for the Phils? i bet super excted naka.Hopefully you have a safe trip backl..ill pray for that.

this coming 2nd week of Oct, they should be able to release new interview schedules.. am hoping and praying that u will have it soon..

we sent everything that we have. im praying for a CASE COMPLETE SOON and a INTERVIEW DATE soon.... even my 4 year old son is mentioning it to his night time prayers for daddy and older brother will be here in time christmas where we can open gift for each other and wake up in the morning of January 1, 2011 as one happy family...

i just mailed my ds-230 and per missy, it took her 2 weeks for her case to be completed and since we have same priority date, it took her another 2 weeks from case complete till her appt for interview came....

Finally im back, it was indeed a long flight with 2 delays, but at least we made it back safe and sound. As promise gi dagkut tamo sa Santo Nino ug sa Birhen sa Simala, Sibonga. I guess excited napud ka sa imo trip, where's your POE on return? daghana sa process sa new immigrants sa SFO...ni take ug 1 1/5 hour. Good thing our flght was delayed on arrival, so we missed our connecting flight and CX booked us overnight at Marriot Hotel.

i don't want to bring any important docs especially when its not necessary..

I think the St Lukes submitted already ur complete medical/physical exam result.. so i really doubt that the embassy will look for those.. anyway, just in case they will look for it..just go ahead and bring it.. but for sure on ur flight going here in the US sooner, u will surely have to bring those docs..

Call at 0730 am here at Eastern time.. so thats about 0730 pm at PI time.. or you can call before MN at eastern time like 10pm or 1130 pm here.. and that should be 10am to 1130am at PI... Goodluck

Im leaving next week, Sept 2 and be back on Sept. 10. Prior to interview already bought my ticket and wife and son already had their reservation. I was really hoping that no glitch will happen during the interview otherwise plans will have to change, but praise be god everthing went smothly as plan.

Wife and Son is done with the interview this morning, and yes they got the PINK SLEP.."Praise be Jesus"

Wife said the whole process was just a breeze, by 6:30 she was inside the USEM and by 8:30 she's back in the hotel.

Pre-screener only ask for photos and emails, and CO only ask 2 questions...my DOB and line of work and thats it.

It's been a 3+ yr journey for my family and finally it's almost over, and my sincere thanks to you ladies Mitch, Kathleen

and all my VJ family for the prayers and support. And for all those still in the process...just hang in there, keep the faith and all will be well.

That should be okay..if ever they will ask you if u have emails..just truthfully answer them that you dont email each other but tell them u are using skype and text messaging.. be sure though that u can print the chat and call logs via skype..Goodluck and God bless you

did u enclosed the form 1040 sa income tax return? i think other than the W2 form.. the 1040 will be the one that they need to see.. and dont forget ur supporting docs for that... like the pay stubs by 6.. letter of employment or certificate, I specifically ask my employer to state in the certification my hourly rate, my estimated annual income and that am currently employed.. thats all that I sent them... goodluck hopefully they will be ok with ur I-864.. to make sure, pls call the NVC and speak with an operator to discuss ur lacking documents..

my current passport bears my maiden name. is it necessary that I renew my passport to change it using my husband's name? thanks
