can anyone please tell me how many days will it take for the VISA to arrive from the day of interview (with God's help) if things will happen as i expected and as i prayed for... for 5 years.

Rey, nice to hear from you again.. u were right... will just let Mitch annoy and bug the NVC for her case to have a schedule sooner... was really thinking positive that she will have the sched by Feb...but i felt disappointed too..anyway, waiting is the game here now..hopefully Mitch will not get tired with the waiting game. She deserve to be with her family soon and so does everyone here...

Just as everyone is saying here..hang on. ur actually almost there.. am pretty sure u will have urs by March pohon... kept bugging them and I know you got disappointed as I do too with ur case but really, it will just make u stronger.. patience is a virtue...i just cant imagine how u feel.. but it will be over soon... Mitch, im glad as well that your case was completed. Don't be bothered with the retrogession issue, you will not be affected. Some point in time you will have your Sched either late January or February. MAybe advise hubby and son to take the medical in advance.

am so happy for u lebanese girl...but I think u still need to apply for the Social security card though u said u signed him at his DS230.. dont waste anytime..go to ur nearest Social security office and apply for the card that way u can include him on ur insurance then eventually when he get his card he maybe eligible to apply for a driver's license.. he can surely apply for the Social security after he already been admitted to the states homeland security at the airport from his point of entry.. on our case, we arrived on Saturday and by Tuesday we filed and we were able to get the card after 2weeks by mail..

hi sgam, when is your pd and what's your case stat? if case completed already, when was it?... is it possible to have an advance medical? coz they will look for the appt. letter.

its really possible to have an early medical appointment even if u dont have the appoinment letter in hand..u just have to tell them your case number and as long as the NVC have already scheduled u one and is still waiting for the letter to come..together with ur documents like passport and everything else..might be a little hassle coz they will look it up..

things are hard on all of us, I received a case complete in September, today, i received an RFE so i have more stuff to send, just my luck

hello vj family anyone here get their interview dates on dec.... or else connected to live operator? or do we need to call the embassy so that they will set an appointment to us?

If u will be under USEM, its usually the NVC who will notify us of the date for the interview depending on the available slots in the embassy,, by then if there is a date available for interview, the NVC will send your packet to the embassy..or better call the NVC and ask the operator re ur case..Goodluck Clav..

i have a question... i have sent in my RFE response last week on the 4th.. they have recieved the package. But the AVR is still not updated. Any idea when it will be updated and i will get a case complete..

end of this week? its already thursday and isnt that supposed to be part of the "end of the week" or shall i wait till friday/???? but im trying to justify it to myself maybe mine would be a different case since i have a stepson that is coming along. and i dont thing it will be a THANKSGIVING party coz i know i wont be done with all the visa process by then.... but the party will be by DECEMBER and thats if my husband will make it here by new year... So glad to be back now..its been a very busy month for me and my family... so far, everything is good..we just got back from our vacation..anyway, how is everybody doing? hopefully..u all will be getting closer to ur visa approval...

How is my friend Rey? Mitch, Kuraish, Maui, Clav, twulf? and for those I wasnt able to mention, how are u all?

my family got her on the 10/15/2010 and so far there was no hassle in our port of entry, it was just the waiting but overall was great.. and they got their SSS and their green card after 2 weeks..

you are damn right I am here... well just a guess may be your husband forgot to put that certificate in the package of something, but you'll have to get the exact details from NVC only, so keep trying.

We had missed a signature in our i-864 , (can you imagine) and that created a delay of approximately a month and a half to the whole process (also lots of arugments and being lazy in sending the papers back) and in the end everything is ok, so thats what it is for you too, as soon as you send those papers back, you'll be on on your way forward. Looking forward to hearing an update from you soon.
