There is no possible way to know someone 100% even if they live in the same country you can be married a million years and find a million new things about your spouse each year. My mom both USC have been married for 63yrs and she still say she is learning my dad....so in my opinion you only know what the person has shown u and to be honest sometimes there are no indicators of scammers....its there profession they are good at it.....Just my thoughts

Welcome to VJ! while Lagos is tough it can be conquered and has been conquered many times. Pls read as much as you can about the process and filling out the paperwork pay attention to detail and be organized. Once you have done that and have questions pls ask questions about anything you might not understand....The journey is long so Goodluck!

Thats a little harsh to say you doubt he will get the visa that is not very nice. Further more the OP asked one simple question and everyone has offered good advice or good opinions but the OP asked if and when he is granted the visa can he divorce once he gets here and marry someone else? To answer your question Slumdog YES if you do get the visa and you arrive in the USA you in fact can divorce and marry someone else...The OP did not ask for everyone to judge him seriously people sometimes the unsolicited advice here can be a bit much.....Goodluck to you slumdog!

I advise you to unlink your alerts to others timeline because although you may share the same time line give or take a day or two you guys probably will never be on the same track throughout the entire journey so in order to save yourself a whole lot of stress I would not link any alerts just because you share the same timeline...You will hear something soon if they have gotten then dont worry. If you have paid by check you can call your bank to get receipt number or if you paid by money order call the number on the receipt you kept for your records to see if it has been cashed...Goodluck

Just to let you know and this is just an FYI there is no sure way to gurantee approval you can vist once and be approved, you can visit a million times and not be approved you can be there during the interview and not be approved and vice versa... Just be organized pay attention to detail and have faith. It appears that you r a bit stressed because some of your questions such as can u attend the interview have been asked by you and u have once asked again. I would say read everything about Nigeria here on VJ study study and do more studying preparation is the best way to be prepared for the interview as well as this whole VJ Good Luck

goodluck on the visitors visa the chances of getting one are very slim however it has been done so if you want to try that first then go right ahead. Once that has concluded i advise you to sit back and evaluate your overall situation and figure out which visa works best for you you K1/CR1....goodluck on your decision.....

Welcome to VJ if ur husband is in Nigeria he will know how to get u a passport. It is no hard at all I have had a Nigerian passport since 2008 and I even got the new ecowas one not long ago. Im a USC. My husband got mine within a week when I was visiting... Let ur husband handle it for u because he knows how to walk the walk and talk the talk if u know what I mean and my passport is legit I flew with it at least 10times and I have flown with the ecowas once already with no problem.......FYI i also have a USC friend that has been living in Naija for about 10yrs with her husband and they all had Naija passports within a week of moving there.......

Just a friendly FYI the OP will not be sending the birth certificate to the NVC because they are applying for K1 they will only need birth certificate at the embassy....I didnt want the OP to be confused....

My Brother in Law was granted a visitors visa out of Lagos today we are so excited! They only asked him a couple of questions and requested none of his supporting documents...We thank GOD!

Just another FYI u might want to consider doing everything through Lagos becuz Ghana is very backed up there are people who have been waiting up to 2yrs to get an interview date.....also look at tge guides here on VJ it tells u step by step what to do. When I sent my call log I did just as you said only sent the pages of the bill that showed if he called me or I called him. I did not send pages that did not have calls we made to and from each other.
