Hello guys!..I hope everyone is doing well.. So, here I am getting to submit an I-130 for my dad..I just wanted to make sure that my understanding is correct for the I-130 requirements..

• Complete and submit an I-130 form
• Money order of $535 for the filing fee
• Copy of my birth certificate
• Copy of certificate of citizenship (for evidence of citizenship)

Please kindly let me know if I have missed any initial document requirements when it comes to submitting an I-130 from.

Thanks for immediate response JFH! Yes, you are correct, I have not read the I-130 instructions yet. I just happened to google the requirements and prerequisites and instantly panicked and jumped into conclusion. Yes, I will do my due diligence to go over and understand the entire packet. Hi everyone! I just wanted to get to some expert opinion on how to bring my father to the US as an immigrant. I pretty much understand all of the requirement except for;

• Evidence of the father-son relationship
• Evidence that an emotional or financial bond existed between you and your father before you were married or reached the age of 21, whichever came first.

What types of evidence do I need to provide along with a filled up I-130. I really do not have any pictures with my dad or any receipts (ie. western union, money gram) to show because it is very very rare that I will send money to my dad.

Please help guys! I have been away from my dad for a very long time and would like to start making good memories with him. And also for him to meet his grandchildren.

hey guys my wife and I are going through the same dilemma in regards to her medical records since it has been over a year since her last dr's visit..i was wondering if we can just go straight to a civil surgeon and maybe have all the testing done there..would that be smart move?

yes tahoma..did had theirs done at st luke's hospital..but I figure since it has been a over a year..that they would ask for a current medical exam..if those are unnecessary..should I just look for a civil sugeon to transcribe her medical records..

by asking clear means..after doctor's visit and she is clear of any sickness, then we would go to a civil surgeon to get her medical records transcribe..thanks so much "tahoma"..I hope you won't get tired of answering question and helping people like me..salamat po..

hey guys..quick question..my wife and stepson needs to get a full medical exam..do they need to get it from a civil surgeon or a regular doctor can do it..then take it to a civil surgeon in order to be transcribe..is it right?..if not please advise..thanks..

to tahoma: yes she got those shots recorded on her ds-3025..but does she need anything else..i took her to a doctor the other day for a full exam..does her doctor needs to give a documentation the she is clear and then take it to the civil surgeon to transcribe..is that right?..if not please advise..thanks a lot..

hey guys..i was wondering if someone could me some answers in regards to my wife and stepson's status.

my wife came in the united states as my fiance along with my stepson on september 2010, got married within 90 days.. and

after that it was all downhill..i got laid off my job, then financial issues began..in a nutshell, until now i was not

able to file her AOS..my question is, is it ok for me to file for her now that we have enough money for filing fees?

i know that her shot records need to be updated..is there anything else that i need to know..please help my family..TIA..

Part 1 #3 (class of admssion)

Part 2 A-F..which one to choose?

Part 3..i don't have a specific date for my wife to leave the US but im including this into her package for a "just in case" basis..

let me see if get this right..i would be sending an AOS package with the follwing:

I-485 (AOS)

I-765 (EAD)

I-131 (Request for Travel Document)

I-864 (Affidavit of Support)

I-693 (Medical Examination and Vaccination Records)..it's been over a year when she came over here in the US..

and supporting document of being established in the U.S. such as

-marriage certificate

-pictures

-bank statements (both names)

-phone bills (both names)

-child birth certificate

-etc.

what do you guys think..is there anything else i might have overlooked..thanks..

@ tbone..to be honest with you i have not read it thoroughly..im browing to it as i go..i know i suppose to read it like i should..im just so eager to sent this package out..because we financially able to afford to file my wife's paperwork..we just now over come a rough patch regarding on employment..thanks for your responses tbone and to all..

i have filled out a I-485..and i know there is a fee of $1070 with boimetrics..along with my package i have included a I-131 (application for travel document).. but on USCIS.gov it says that it would cost $360..do i have to pay that also on top of the $1070..im just wanted to make sure and get everything on a right directions..i don't want a hold up just for some fees that i wasn't able to include with the forms..
