  1. I am looking for those who has actually used NOA2 and MNL case# for medical. Please only reply if you have done this from experience and not just because you heard it's true. The USEM website says only Appointment Letter to bring so that's why I am trying to confirm this. Thanks!

  2. Haha thanks you are all so helpful! My wifey can really worry less now after seeing these replies, except yours Gendy haha joke. I know its mainly about being able to support your wife and also how would they know Im at my parent's house anyways, there's no need for them to search since Im above the poverty guideline. So you are all correct and this reassurance will help my wifey. There's just too many stories and gossip in Pi that start to make you wonder "what if?" Thanks Again! -jers

  3. Hi I'm curious about if the interview will really search where you live back in America? I currently live at my parent's residence and my plan is to get my own residence after my trip from Pi when my wife's interview is over. Now I easily pass the poverty guidelines but I still wonder if they will frown upon me not having my own residence established yet? What you think?

    Thanks,

    jers

    Guys,

I got my CR-1 VISA too on 27th May and just coming from the US embassy collecting my VISA. Thanks to all mighty and I wish you all get the CR-1 or IR-1 VISA when you apply. Just make sure you have all the doc's they ask you to bring. Though they treat every case in a unique way but it seemed to me that haveing a lot of pictures is a good sign and it proves your relationship and the time line.

So good luck and, please if you need any suggesation about CR-1 please ask me, I'll try to help as much as I can.

So, does your husband ask by the CO,too? In what story? Does the story tell about you guys, since from the beginning????

  5. JIMFIBI said, He/she doesn't think that you need the Parent Consent because you are in the legal age but if you really want to have, you can have one and try to consult a lawyer to notarize it with the signature of your parents and of course the lawyer!! Just like what I did in my paper but it was different case because I have it at CFO:).... I am 20 and husband is 24!!!!

  6. I got married overseas last year in November but I filed my 2009 taxes as single already before I learned that this ITIN was possible or ever existed. So should I amend my tax and apply for this ITIN or should I keep it as it is since it's already accepted by IRS? What do you think NVC or the embassy interview will think about my tax showing single? I think it's fine since all they want to see is my income anyways but who knows so thats why Im asking here what you think.

    Thanks.

  7. I will be sending to NVC in a few months and I just noticed on my last 3 years of tax returns that 2007 and 2008 has a different suffix to my name than my 2009. for example it shows John Doe Smith Jr on 2007/2008 returns but my 2009 and I-130/G325a i put John Doe Smith II

so im asking can this cause a problem at anytime with my name being different even though its only the suffix?

i did NOT put John Doe Smith Jr in the "other names used" blank on I-130/G325a because if i did then this would not be any concern to me but grrr i didnt. so does anyone have any opinions on this?

    Thanks in advance -jer

  8. I have already filed my taxes for this year but I have just learned about this ITIN and I didn't get one for my wife. Is this going to cause me problems and what should I do about it? Please help on this.

    Thanks,

    jerz

So I filed as single and not joinly because I did not have a SSN for my wife and this was before I found out about a ITIN. The main thing I am worried about is at NVC when they see my federal tax returns that the one this year is filed as single and not jointly since I'm married. Is it okay that I filed as single or will this cause a problem?
