Canadiandggal got a reaction from Karen_and_Jay in I-751 Aug 2012 filers
Simply because we had been well over the usual timeline. I actually called just to talk and see if they had any information, the rep told me we could file a service request so I did.

Canadiandggal got a reaction from Ontarkie in Canadian Citizenship for Children
You must send one photo document (Usually US passport) therefor unless you want to be without the childs passport for a year you will probably want to send a notarized copy.
If your husband is canadian then yes your children together will automatically have canadian citzenship, You will be apply for a Canadian certificate the same way a child born in Canada would apply for us certificate.

Canadiandggal got a reaction from TheFantastics09 in Criminal Record
The USA does not consider a Canadian pardon or purge, as it is from Canada so They still will consider her as having a record.
However, I suggust you call the court that she attended and request her court records to further help her case (I asked for 6 copies of each). If she had a summary offense and only one it is likely she will be ok.

Canadiandggal got a reaction from TheFantastics09 in anyone else think this is stupid?
Not going to pry but why does your one year old have to accompany you? Do you not have any family or friends that could babysit for a day or two? I know it was hard with a 4 year old so I can completely feel your pain. YES IT IS STUPID

Canadiandggal got a reaction from then in Desperate cry for HELP!
Hmmmmmm...... I have pretty strong vows in my marriage and the only reason we would divorce is if one of cheated, abuse well that would be once too... But cheating is a huge thing.
I would also like to mention that the Op's husband did not just cheat, he cheated, lied, hid it, made up a story and NOOONE told her about it... This isn't a guy who randomly got drunk and a chick fell on his ####### (My ex told me this happened once , stupid man)
Do I feel sorry for the other lady, yes she lost a child i have been through it but that still does not make her innocent in the situation.
Op stand your ground and divorce the nit wit, you dont deserve this.

Canadiandggal got a reaction from Sweetcheeksss in Candian legal terms...
Unfortunately to the eyes of the United states any record discharged or expunged is still a record. I cannot really give my opinion as I do not know the story. However If he has court papers it should say whether is was a conviction.
was it dropped? was he convicted? did he get probation? did he have a discharge?
Really You still have to say it happened as they ask if he has been arrested, charged or convicted.
I had two minor offenses both of which were done when I was a youth,I had a conditional discharge and they were removed from my record on my 18th birthday but to the united states they still exist.

Canadiandggal got a reaction from Krikit in Off Topic Part Cinq
Awe... If you want children I hope that it happens soon but a word of advice is do not think about it. I have endometriosis and have had some serious problems in the past with it.I was told I probably not ever have children due it that and my blood disorder. Took 3 years to conceive my son (not trying but not doing anything to stop it).
Then 4 years to conceive this pregnancy and I worked damn hard to make it happen lol However the first two years were again not doing anything to stop it from happening and the last 2 years were hard core doing anything and everything recommended by friends, family, doctors and specialists. The funniest part is that when I finally gave in to it will happen when it happens, I got pregnant that month lol.
I should also add that I know two people. My mom and my moms friend who had disorders or problems who eventrually (without any help) got pregnant. My mom had In-vitro for years with no luck then one day 4 years later she finds out she is pregnant. My moms friend was told she and her husband had a 1 in a million chance of conceiving, she decides to change careers to a school teacher and must move far from her husband for a few months so they have this romantic weekend together before she leaves, 3 months later she finds out she is pregnant.( he had a low count and she had PCOS I believe).
Ok I shut up now lol

Canadiandggal got a reaction from Shawn & Emi in Luck of Willpower
I have to agree with above posters.
1) I am sorry to hear you two are calling it quits.
2) Everyone in this situation gets tired of waiting but If its meant to be then what is this small amount of time? when you have a lifetime together.
3) It is better to end it now then to be together and realize its not right.
Good luck in the future

Not if you order online. Usually takes 5-10 days at the most. When I ordered In Canada I had mine within 3 days, when I ordered from The United states It took 5 days. (I did not use the premium service)
