  1. hi VJ's. im back here at the website. i just got here at US since nov.20..and i tried to post my timeline, but i cant get through coz of some internet problems with my pc. i'll update this soon.

anyway, someone can help me understand about the Form I-751? as far as i know, only the couples which have less than 2 years of marriage can apply for this I-751(removed of conditional status), but me and my hubby married for more than 2 years since i approved and received my 2 year resident card. do we require to file this form? and is it right to receive only 2 years of resident card instead of 10 years? and also,it said that the expiration date indicated on my 2 year permanent resident card, will be our 2nd year wedding anniversary, but the date indicated on my card is nov.20,2011,its not our wedding anniv. our wedding anniv is july and it is for 3rd year?

someone help me to understand.. i appreciate it in advance.. thank you.

  2. Hello everyone,

Let me introduce myself. My name is Steve and I am engaged to my lovely Thuy. I live in Chicago and she lives in Ho Chi Minh City. We have known each other for 10 months. I came back from my 2nd trip to VN in September, where we had our Dinh Hon. We had the Dinh Hon in VN with her family and we plan to have the wedding in Chicago with my family. I have been roaming around as a guest for the last month or so, but finally decided to become a member because I am about to file the I-129F petition. Anyways, I wanted to include evidence of both of my trips to VN, including our Dinh Hon with the I-129F. Recently, I added Thuy to my life insurance policy as the beneficiary. I also opened up a joint bank account in both our names and I am thinking of adding her name to my apartment for the apartment lease contract. I felt these were good things to do, to begin the transition for her new live in the US after we get married. I will definitely include passport stamps, boarding passes, pictures, emails, receipts, time line, relatives in the US, etc. for evidence, so that part is good. Do you guys think it is a good idea to also add evidence of the insurance policy, the joint bank account and the apartment lease with her name with my I-129F? I don't know for sure. I just wanted to add these to show not only evidence of bonafide relationship but also our future intentions to live together in the US. Would this be ok or should I keep it out? Thanks!

hi there!!! yes. all the documents you think that can proof that you have a on-going relationship with your fiancee can help. but about the insurance, i dont think its good if you will add her as your beneficiary, you have to get married before you add her. but if you really like, do it. im just saying my opinion about that. and besides, in the insurance policy, they will ask what is your relation to this person? you will say, fiance? its better if you will answer, MY WIFE! So, get married first. :)

    goodluck to both of you.

  4. hello everyone,

My fiance lives in Denver, Colorado, the past week i have not received any text or email from him which is unusual, i keep on calling his phone and no answer i was so worried something happen, but then last wednesday he texted me at last telling me he was confined due to overdose of medicine prescribed by the doctor, and still hes under medication i feel a little comfort knowing his ok but still worried coz im not really there to take care of him and not knowing what is happening. So, as usual we exchange texts from wednesday up to thursday at 3:39 am here philippine time...after that i cant keep in touch again...his phone only ringing no answer...no email...i called his sons from colorado springs and they dont know what happen...and they are not that approachable to answer me...im so worried now that everything came to worst, i dont know if he got serious or what...my mind is so tired thinking what happen...been crying for 3 days now and my heart is heavy and hurting...its so hard hes too far and i cant do anything....what shall i do?

hi. im sorry to hear that... i think the best thing you can do for now is to enlighten your mind that " theres always reason why such things happened. its the only way for you to believe how greatful God was. you have to knock, seek and have faith to Him. God can control all the things, and He promised that, " whatever you ask in your prayer, ask it through Jesus Christ name... Just believe and have faith.

    God bless you.

They have his dads birth certificate already, notarized!

Do I need to send Andys birth certificate now too?

Geez I'm soooo mad now :(

i think, besides the birth certificate of andy and his dad, provide some picture that he and andy together. and if andy have insurance that his father is one of the beneficiary, get that copy and attach. :)

dont be mad... everything will be alright. just pray for it. :)

  10. We attended the interview yesterday. Our appointment time was 8:30am. We arrived at the embassy at 7:30am. Because of the preperation from this website we had no real surprises. After finger scanning, Mae met with the prescreener. I couldn't see what was going on but I was getting nervous because she was taking a long time. When she moved back from the window a little, I saw she was laughing out loud. When she came back to the seating area she told me it was just like having a conversation with a new acquaintance. They were laughing about some of our photos and the fact Mae has a college degree in Automotive mechanics (dont ask, its a long story).

The only slight surprise was that when Mae was called for the interview, they immediately told me to go in with her. I was under the impression that the petitioner wasn't usually invited into the actual interview. He swore Mae in and asked her how we met. He asked me why I was in the Philippines back in 2006 when we first met. He then asked me about my previous marriage and children. He asked about our wedding plans and when we would leave the Philippines. He then said we were approved and congratulated us. We were done by 10:30am.

Thanks to everyone on this website for your contributions.

CONGRATULATIONS TO BOTH OF YOU!!! i wish the consul will also allow my husband to be with me in the actual interview...

    GOD bless you all!!!
