this is my old post in 2009 regarding obtaining Dubai PCC if you're already in Philippines.
Do you know someone in Dubai who can apply Police Clearance on your behalf? I had a friend who applied for me when I requested it. Because if you don't have anyone to do it for you, I think you will have to request online. It will take time and more expensive.
Anyways, please go to NBI Taft, Manila for fingerprinting with 2x2 photo and a valid I.D. They will ask you to complete the form with complete details (no abbreviations) and take your fingerprints. Then, they will give you claim stub as to when the document can be picked-up. Please take note that you won't have to pay there. The NBI will forward the document to Department of Foreign Affairs for authentication..that's where you will show the claim stub and pay Php 100.00 and again a valid i.d. before they release it. After DFA, you need to go to any DHL counter (local shipment) to send the authenticated document to UAE Embassy Manila and pay around Php 1,800.00. It will take a week before you receive the attested document (from UAE Embassy) with UAE stamp and arabic signature. Once you have it, it is up to you which shipping company you want to use (DHL or Fedex) to deliver your documents to Dubai.
    REQUIREMENTS:
--authenticated/attested fingerprints (from DFA/UAE embassy with red ribbon)
-- 4 pcs passport sized photos
--authorization letter for the person who will apply on your behalf
    --photocopy of valid passport
--photocopy of passport with UAE visa and cancellation page
--application form (can be downloaded from dubaipolice.gov.ae)
    --Dhs 115.00 processing fee
Please make sure to write (on authorization letter and application form) that the purpose for applying PCC is for USA visa application. What I did was, I sent 2 copies each of those documents. I also downloaded the application form and signed it because I just wanted my friend to submit everything, not do the forms and the typing center is far from the police headquarters. BTW, they won't accept handwritten forms, they will ask the person to typewritten it. And since you're outside Dubai, your application will only be processed in the headquarters which is located in Al Qusais. Mine took 8 days and my friend just sent it to me thru DHL.
    Goodluck girl.

We'll be celebrating our 5th anniversary in March. We have a daughter and son (2 years apart) and now an infant girl. Our house is a happy and noisy one, filled with laughter and children's happy screaming. We are going back to Manila in July to pick up my Mom and after that, my husband and I will be on the road..travelling. We love road trips

I agree with you. I gave birth twice through C-sec. First with my daughter born in the Philippines and I went back to work after 3 weeks. Second was with my son born in Las Vegas. They operated on Wednesday and I went grocery shopping on Saturday while he was still in NICU since he was a preemie, and taking care of him was just all on me and my husband because his relatives are in Buffalo so there was no other help. I think the recovery depends on the person and how she's taking and handling it. The first 2 days were painful but after that, I went back to my normal activities minus heavy lifting.

I say give her a break, don't be on her all the time about everything.
She left her country for a new one, thats a huge and often difficult change. Plus being pregnant on top of it, she has many big changes going on in her life. Try to up lift her, help her, make her feel welcome. An old saying goes " dont forget to date your wife" . Give each other space , she doesnt have to speak english just to include you. If you want to speak as well, learn the language.
With that being said, i see so many concerning posts . Why dont you show your wife these posts or let her post her thoughts here?
At some point she is going to wise up and when she sees you were talking about taking her virginity and other crazy stuff online she is probably going to leave you. I mean no disrespect to you, but i highly advise to change the way you think about things and what personal info you post online about her if you want to keep her as a happy wife.

Everything in life is some kind of a deal. We all do things every day in order to achieve something from it. We buy a new car because we want to feel good about it and because we enjoy the ride. Some even buy a new car to get the neighbor's attention. Kids like nice cars because they help them to get laid. I wouldn't want anybody to buy me a car I haven't checked out myself, even less would I want to get a wife by air mail. How do I know that she and I would be compatible?
You were okay with that, however, so I assume you agreed to this little transaction because you wanted a Green Card. Your wife wanted a husband and babies, and who knows what the parents involved got. Could be a goat or a bunch' a money.
Now you realize that you agreed to a deal that isn't working out. You didn't use due diligence and now you feel trapped. Here's what you can do: be a man. Tell your wife that you don't want to pop out babies with her. Get a divorce, move back to India, the place where all the American jobs went. There you stand up to your parents, again, like a man would do it, and tell them that you just checked the calendar and found out it's 2012 already, and you are not a tangible asset, so you will pick your next wife yourself, and you'll test drive her to make sure she's what you hope she is.
    Best of luck to you.

It is self-righteous and arrogant to vilify someone before hearing their side of the story. Why would throw one of your own under the bus so quickly? Do you know her?

The OP had a question. Wether it is his first second or third petition is no ones business but his alone, neither is the age difference or where he chooses to find a partner. Those are his choices. It was not him who was sarcastic but he received a sarcastic response with all the little hateful emoticons and critical remarks which was highly uncalled for. I would also withdraw versus letting it expire and include the reasons in a short letter. There are good people here you just have to weed the noise out. So sorry for your pain.

In the end, does any of it really matter? If you love and respect your wife, and she knows it, then it won't matter how you refer to her. And if someone says something that is truly mean or vindictive about her culture, then that is just showing the speaker's lack of intelligence, right?
Many people in the US have never been outside the borders, and have no right to comment on another land's way of life or culture... yet they do it, and probably mostly because of what they have seen/read in the media. My asawa may appear to be more meek and submissive than my ex wife... but she is quick to tell me that "I will always make people think that you are the boss, and might even let YOU believe it from time. But rest assured, I am in charge, and you will end up doing what I want, so best for you not to resist me!" Yeah, she says it laughingly, but in the end, she usually gets what she wants.
On some things, we are equals. On others, one of us takes the lead and the other follows. But whether I call her "My Filipina", or sweetheart, or FiliPAINa, or Flipper, or Honey... she always knows that I love her. And if someone attacks her for her culture, grammar, or whatever, I just sit back and smile, cuz she can handle it. Like when it comes to mocking her grammar (yeah, I have teased her from time to time, cuz it's so darn cute!), but she is not in the mood, she will still my words by saying, "Ok, so my English is not as good as my Tagalog, or my Visayan... but it's better than the other 4 languages I can speak. How many languages are YOU fluent in???" Yeah, she can handle herself, and usually with a smile on her face (that I have come to discern as more dangerous than her frown).
So again I say... does it matter when others show their ignorance? Not really. Cuz in the end, if they are truly sincere in trying to slam my asawa, either directly or thru me by attacking our marital reasoning... then I simply will exclude them from my life. Mostly, it's just honest mistakes, I think. Then again, I don't have the years of being with a FiliPAINa like some of you; but I DO have the luxury of having spent a lot of time outside the US and living in other cultures. And IMHO, getting hot under the collar and "putting someone in their place" probably is a waste of time. If they truly believe what they say, will I change their mind? No. Nothing will, except getting to know my wonderful asawa better.
And for those of you who think ALL Filipinas are good, they ain't. Just as all American women ain't. The nationality does not matter. What matters is that in my Filipina sweetheart, I feel like I have found my soul mate. And I am so lucky to have her.

You had quite a day yesterday.
First, you overcame all of personal problems and your relationship fears.
Then, you discovered that clams and oysters are different.
That's as good as it gets!
