My interview is tomorrow, my plane leaves at 5.30pm from nyc to ft. lauderdale , i stay there for an hour and a half then off to peru at 11pm or so... arrive there at 4am interview at 8.45am... but leaving her home at 6.30am or so....

Guys give me a check list to see that im bringing all nessesary for this... im calmed but at the same time worried that this coming thunder storm might delay my flight...

Lee - Thank you, I hope it doesnt last long, as far as i've read. For Peru, we will see an interviewer then the consul, they say that the interview will last approximately 15-20 mins. Then again, i dont know if she received the DS - 230 in her packet. Lets say it wasnt included, should we fill one out just in case.

Roman- What i meant is that the information of DS 230 I- II has to be filled with HER information not mine correct, because there is a part that says (in page 3 #29 http://www.visapro.com/Download/Immigrant-...orm-DS-230.pdf) where it mentions the petitioner...meaning the application petitioner (my girl) or HER petitioner (me). what you think? thanks man i appreciate it.

I'm actually doing alot of things at work and i get in here just to keep my eyes off things for a bit. So many things going on here that im working on but so far im doing a good job but there is just so much lol ALSO...contacting my financial institutions regarding the letter i need for the I 134...then her texting me trying to talk to me but im just busy and my mother and grandmom calling me....its a day everyone is calling me...also my brother texting me complaining how this company that wants to hire him just calls him in the worst time when he's busy...

Well, I have a question for everyone, specially Roman.:

When can i start getting all my financials done? the interview is Aug. 6 so like if i start getting the bank statement and get it notarized lets say...this week, will that matter if its lets say...2 weeks old when i present it in the interview or they have to be VERY recent? what you think or what you heard regarding this?

I ask you because i want to get my bank account detail for checking and savings this Saturday and have it notarized as well but i'm wondering if i should do it this week or a week before? It would be great if i could have it all done this week so i can concentrate on other stuff.

Anyone has any info regarding this?

You can go ahead and get it now. It won't watter if its only a few weeks old. Why does it have to be notarised? We don't have to do it for the embassy in Moscow. As long as the records are relatively recent you'll be fine.

I want to have it notarized because that's how it's being asked to be done for Peru...also highly recommended to do that. I'm aware that banks have a public notary on site so they'll do it for free at my bank.

Now when i go to the bank , what exactly do i have to ask for because when i went there once and asked out of curiosity for a document that states the time of my account and such they gave me this little undetailed piece of paper, so this time i want to go to my local branch (before i went to a branch located around my job not the branch where i opened my account) and ask for the right thing, please advice?

Do they let you go in for the interview? I was told I would sit outside if I went to Moscow. I could save myself a grand and sit outside at my house.

even if i sit outside i'll be glad to be there and see her because i miss her. but i doubt it, for Peru i think you just show your passport and i can go in with her since i'm the petitioner and also the person who's gonna support her, lets not forget evidence of ongoing relationship. lol

They actually said that by me being there does not prove or show them anything. They want to interview the person who is leaving the country, not US citizen.

There were 10 pages of stuff from today! Anyway, Maria got the paperwork from the Embassy today. I will be DHL'ing her the forms and stuff this week and hopefully she will schedule the interview this week too!

Marina told me that even if I would have flew to Ukraine, they would not let me into the embassy. I would have to stay outside and wait for her. THAT'S RETARDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that's not fair... you're also evidence of the relationship because you're showing your face on that moment and demonstrating support towards her... So far i'm aware that i'm allowed in, but if not then i would have to wait long hours outside. Well my boss was very comprehensive and flexible with my situation and days i have to take off work, which im thankful for because in other places i heard H.R are #######...

She tries in English, but when we get going she talks in Russian. I know a few of those words so that works out. Plus I know when she is really into it.

i go for the dirty spanish but i can also be dirty in english so it aint a problem with me with either, i can be passionate with both. Gotta love being Latin in that side too

i cant watch Chapelle with my girl...at least not yet, i tried to explain but she doesn't get it... = ( its sad when i laugh and she doesn't... will just have to wait until she becomes more fluent in the language.

Hey guys how you been! how was your weekend. Mine was pretty tranquil until Saturday night when i went bar hopping in Manhattan and had some drinks with a friend from high school whom i haven't seem in a while, he's mad cool and we were talking about the fun times back then and having some beers. The lower east side is pretty fun place to hang out.

By the way, my girl's medical is this Friday and she'll get the results returned on the 4th of august...

I already bought her luggage and hand luggage for her trip, neat for a girl lol.
