Hi there! does k1 visa holder could apply SSN even if we're not married yet?what are the requirements and what would be the best reason in applying SSN.Thanks

In many cases it takes a week or so for the information to get into the system. The VJ guide does recommend waiting a couple of weeks.

Call the embassy and ask if u can schedule for interview already. They will tell u if u can or not.Tell them that NVC sent ur papers already 2 weeks ago then once u scheduled an interview, download the forms at NVC site or go to Manila embassy site. Good luck. i didnt wait for my packet my fiance called the embassy to set for my interview and i only got my packet after my interview.

That means her visa was approved. You dont have to worry. Congratulations!! she will receive the visa 2 days to 2weeks but 6 to 7days in average. Goodluck!

My SO jut completed her interview. The consule said she passed. However she never got a "slip" of any kind. she just sat back down untill her number came up on the board to pay air21 then they gave her a pink paper for a receipt. Can someone explain the "pink slip" or am i missin something. Thanks

There were stop over(connecting flights). From Manila to Nagoya, Nagoya to Detroit, Detroit to Charlottes and charlottes to Charlottesville. There is no direct flight from detroit to Charlottesville.

i need some help regarding my NBI clearance because its one requirements right for visa interview in US embassy manila and it says that for immigrant visa valid for 1 year it take. my concern is my NBI will be 1 year on march 2010 nxt year then i dont know yet my interview schedule it may come before MARCH or AFTER that month. so what should i do renew it before march? please help. thanks

Hi! My fiance just gave me his 4 paystubs and he just gave me his 2008 ITR but much better if you will get your past 3years ITR. The pre-screener didn't ask for my fiance's employment letter, i even asked her if she will take it but she said no need. But it's better to be prepared than sorry right? Good luck to you both. In 2008 it was $51,500 2007 -$33.000 2006 $42.000 i will be submitting all three years. What do you think ?

Its been 6 working days from the time I had my interview... I haven't received any text from AIR21 until now... What taking them so long to send off my visa?!!!! I'm mad at there system now... Mindanao is far from Bacolod, but they got their visa just 3days... So sad that I have to wait 'til the last minute to buy the ticket... Disorganize USEM!!!

Hi! Don't worry too much...Just get NBI clearance under Annalyn's name. I got 2NBI clearance also because i was annulled. I got 1 for my single name and 1 for my married name (ex-husband's last name) and get a CENOMAR too. Just pass what they asked u to get and everything will be okay. Goodluck to you.

do you have anything idea about my case problem? i am done with my interview last Oct 13 and its pending right now because the interviewer need some documents of mine like Certificate of no marriage and NBI clearance, because He saw my birth certificate having a remarks thatmy name has been corrected from ANNALYN to ANALYN so as interviewer said i need to submit using ANNALYN but with the same important info like date of birth parents name and official address. so will it be takes long period of time? How can I know that they reviewed my case?

My fiance was married before and on the marriage certificate it has both of there names. His and her real names not kirsteens and his name together . Like her taking his last name on the contract. So my question is on question number 8 and 9 on the DS-156 . Does she have to take his sir name and put it in that box or can we just write none. Hope you can help us. Sorry if i confused anyone.

Hi! I think one chat log per month is ok. I just passed my interview yesterday thank God. I only have two chat logs the first time we met and two at the mid of our relationship and two at present. Good luck on your interview. God Bless

Why can't I just post all my questions under one topic?

Anyway, during the interview, is it fine to bring only one set of chat record from every month and one or two mails representing each month... or as many as 5-10 per month as some suggested? We don't have phone bills because we use prepaid cards, just two greeting cards snail mailed, and no engagement ring receipt but we chat almost daily and e-mail one another once or more everyday. We have photos together, photos with my family and friends, etc. His mom and I also e-mail each other once in a while.

My fiance is not coming over for my interview. Is it true that applicants whose petitioners are present during the interview get ahead of the queue?

Janet did her interview this morning (Oct14th) at the US Embassy and got the pink! Her interview lasted about five minutes. I am so happy now that we are past this point in our journey, and I want to thank everyone who helped us! My patient fiancee is on her 2nd day at SLMC...

The question for those that have already done this...Is it normal for the examining physician to ask about marriage history like her annulment? Reason for separation? She was asked to bring her annulment papers today (2nd day).

We were kind of upset because this is a medical examination and see no relevance why this information is needed unless you good people can tell me?? Other than for gossip use? I didn't see this in the requirements to bring to the medical exam.

We felt we should have asked questions but just swallowed our pride so that she can finish her exams.

Just sharing and maybe someone here has gone through the same thing..it really feels like invasion of privacy.
