They say that photos are not primary evidence of relationship, but I would suggest putting photos where both of you are caught off guard.

Usually people tend to stiff up in photos when they know the camera is on them. Its normal. The lady who looked at our photos used mainly that as primary evidence. She said they did not even ask of my entry in the country or anything alike.

Bucharest (Bucuresti) embassy. She said the lady who took her paperwork and supporting evidence was a pain (like every romanian woman that servs you or helps you with anything and is paid ) and the lady that she had the interview was really nice to her. Gave her compliments that she is pretty and we look like a pretty couple. Ect. It was easy she said, she waited 4 hours for a less-then 5 min interview.

They had to fingerprint her twice because she had so many emotions .

Ok so we have received packet 3, item 1 said to mail back

DS-230(part1), DS-156 (2 forms) and DS-156K (2 unsigned)

so do we mail this back with the checklist? she has not had her medical, so would it be better to mail the checklist earlier so we can get an interview earlier? or wait for medical exam and then send the checklist?

Hello my fellow travelers.

On Tuesday night I sent an email to the Romanian embassy asking about package 3. I asked them if my SO should wait for the package by mail or if she can download some of the forms and fill them herself. Next morning I received a reply stating that "she has to wait for the package on the mail but that I could send them the case # and her mailing address and they could send her the package in advance." All this before they receive the documents from NVC.

Can they really do that? That would be really great and will save some good time. What are your opinions on this?

we just received our package today. The package was all in Romanian. Inside it had the checklist.

It was weird for us though.

Item 1 said to send back the DS-230 form (ok), and in handwriting it stated "+ DS-156 double and 156k unsigned"

I thought it was weird, because on item 2 it said to have two copies of ds 156 and two unsigned 156k.

As for completing the forms, YA get to it, we did them before we got our packet, just have them ready to submit the day you receive.

Now we are waiting to send it by mail tomorrow after my girl asks the embassy some quick questions.

I am pretty sure they do... but others will confirm.

Congratulations to all march filers who have gotten approved so far, it seems they are just skipping over others or what do you think? I am getting worried now, is it time to get the congressman or senator involved? Sorry Linda, wish i could give you suggestions or advice but i am praying along with you for favor. I have a really hard time with rings. I really want to get my SO a beautiful ring, but I want to bang my head against the wall. There is nothing available besides "rock placed on a ring" type of design (if you can call it design at all). I want something beautiful and unique. Might have to end up looking for one when I am in Moscow. Same goes for rings... I've looked through hundreds of pages - nothing that would make me want them.

Unfortunately they do not design rings from the man's point of view, but the American Woman's point of view a rock on a ring... and the bigger the rock the better....
