Chicago. You will find the exact address in the instructions. Also, I suggest you go through the whole instruction manual again to make sure you have not missed anything that you need to send.

Airline tickets are always supposed to be booked in the name on the passport not the EAD/AP card. Thats why you had the problems. Book the tickets in the name on the passport and they will only ask to see the marriage cert when you enter back to the USA using the EAD/AP card.

Boarding passes, iteneraries, and passport stamps are the best evidence of meeting in person at a certain time period. Other things to consider: a credit or debit card statement showing transaction in his hometown. I would focus on the two year period prior to filing as that is all they care about. These are proofs of meeting in person within 2 years. But you said that your RFE is asking for proof of relationship. Perhaps a personal statement outlining your relationship (when and how you met, how long you have been in a relationship, if it was continuous or off and on, the birth of your child, the date of engagement, etc) along with affidavits from friends and family that have personal knowledge of your relationship.
Did the RFE list examples of proofs that you could submit?

They did not help me at the info pass. But the Ombudsman replied my mail this morning asking me to re-forward all the documents. USCIS replied my mail as well notifying me that they've seen my response and I should get an update soon. To Grace of God, I received the card production email this evening.

The USCIS officer at our naturalization ceremony specifically said not to laminate the certificate because it would invalidate it. She said it would be very expensive to replace if it was laminated. She also said the certificate wasn't valid until there was the naturalized citizen's signature on it too. :-)

    2. no, doesn't exist.
    3. I-130 will lead to a CR1.
Lana cannot move with you on a visitor visa. Visitor visas are for visiting only. She can come and visit but she will need to return to Canada to finish her spousal visa process.
If you try to move illegally on a tourist visa then the border patrol can and will deny her entry to the US.

If the boy is a USC he is not going to the USA on a visa, he is using a US passport and does not need to be sponsored on the 134 form. Sponsoring is for immigrants only not US citizens who are returning to the USA.

Inky reacted to atm in I-751 RFE - Requesting Assistance
I am sure others will chime in, but it is very important to include evidence that covers the entire period of your marriage (or at least since she received her conditional greencard). The list of documents you provided seems more a time-static list of documents - than a set of documents showing continuity of a joint life over time. A history of financial intermingling is the most important evidence for USCIS - it is mostly financial evidence that they are requesting.

Include all tax returns (and transcripts and supporting W2s etc) for every year that you have been married (including 2012). Even if you already sent this information, I would send it again.

The bank statements (including transaction pages) are also important. Advice given on VJ is to send quarterly statements since you were married of all joint checking and savings accounts. If you don't have credit cards (and a long history of credit card statements) then you should explain why in your letter (I know not everyone has or likes to have credit cards!). If you don't have any joint loans, explain that too.

Include all leases (in joint names) for all residences since the date of your marriage.

Rather than a document showing a joint health insurance policy, can you get your employer to write a letter stating the date of your marriage and the date that you added your wife to your benefits schedule? And I know you aren't working now - did your wife add you to her benefits schedule - get a letter to that effect if so.

I would go through the RFE with a fine tooth comb, and send everything they ask for, even if you already sent it. Explain clearly in your cover letter every piece of evidence you are sending, and why you are unable to send other documents.

    Good luck!

Because it's obsolete and rarely granted. The I-129f would need to be approved and make it to NVC before the I-130. And the consulate or embassy would need to proceed with the K3. It just doesn't happen that often and the NVC will administratively close the I-129f if it is received at the same time or after the I-130. If it makes it and is approved you'd have to adjust status which means applying for AP and EAD as well if you want to travel or work. It's $1070 for AOS. It takes just as long if not longer for the k3 as the cr1 and the cr1 is the superior visa.

Ceremony was at 1:30pm this afternoon at the US District Courthouse in Phoenix. Everyone was awesome - from the USCIS Officers to the Judge to the Passport/Social Security/Voter Registration folks afterwards. Ceremony was 45 min long, and I did volunteer to speak to thank my wife and everyone else for making this happen.
The passport representatives were from the passport processing center and not an office so that shaves 5-6 days off of the turn-around time. Quite awesome if you ask me!
