  1. Weekend was pretty good. How about yours? You can call if you want, but it should be coming any day now. Definitely by 11-15 October.

  2. I believe it is 3-4 weeks currently.

  3. Hey, how's ROC going?

  4. Hola! Expect a date by next Friday (last week of September), since you'll be interviewing in BMB. Otherwise, you'll be scheduled during 11-15 October. But I'm fairly certain you'll have your November date pretty soon. Hang in there, lady.

  5. Yes, that is true. I only submitted a new copy of the I864 because Mr. Sachinky had a new job that qualified him. I always recommend updated copies of all the forms. No, the I-130 and G325A is not required. Do carry a new copy of the DS230 though.

  6. I have no idea how the internal scheduling is done. But I have seen people being assigned dates late into the month and then others being later assigned dates early into the month. So there's no clear-cut method to this madness. You may very well make early November still.

  7. Before the interview, you have to go to your local VFS and submit certain documents. This will depend on your regional VFS office and their requirements. Mostly copies of the MC, PCC, BC. I submitted two photographs and a new DS230 and I-864.

  8. You should have a date for a November interview by the end of this month (last week of September)!

  9. Yes, you are well in time for a November interview. Congrats on the SIF. Good luck with the final round! =D

  10. What I'd do is wait a week or so then contact the Consulate. Give them your case # and ask them if the documents they received from NVC is sufficient.

  11. Hey. I am trying to remember what my letter said but I can't. The requirement at NVC is ORIGINAL OR CERTIFIED document so if they say they have the CERTIFIED document (even though they actually have the original) it should be okay.

  12. To get an October date, your CC will have to be by September 10. September 13-17 is the first full second week of the month so dates will be assigned during that week. Dates assigned during 27-1 will be for November. Keep me posted!

  13. Is it Friday yet?

      how I wish!! lol

  14. Yes, end-September or mid-October assignments will be scheduled for November.

  15. BMB schedules on the second AND fourth week of the month. Second week of September will be scheduled for October dates and end-September assignments will be for November.

    Good luck! =D

  16. I believe it is currently 3-4 weeks.

The AVR will update to reflect a RFE, should you get hit with one. You will be notified of the details of that RFE via email.

  18. Good luck and keep me posted, lady! =)

  19. Thankyou! I like easy, simple recipes, hope you have fun trying them out! Do leave a comment when you visit! =)

  20. No, as long as it is accurate and legible it will be fine. Make sure he writes it in caps and it's readable. Good luck!

  21. You sent extra blank forms? GOod girl! For the sake of consistency, I'd have your husband fill out both parts of the DS230 in ink. 1 page handwritten and the rest in type, just looks weird, IMO. It's a pain but have him rewrite all 4 pages. I did the same thing with my husband's I-864 prior to the interview.

  22. Happy Independence Day, fellow Indians! Jai Hind.

  23. Write 'UNEMPLOYED.' If you're studying, write 'STUDENT.'

Mother's name before marriage -- that is, her last name before she got married. If she didn't have a middle name back then, write N/A.
