Get a good employment letter. HR people know how to write the stuff - highlighting that you are a valuable associate and that your prospects with the company look positive. Include paystub copies, maybe even a 401K proof. Thats all you can do.
-
If beneficiary is working, add letter from company and recent paystubs to I-765.
Also, this may sound reduntant but I would establish your eligibility with each of the 4 submission forms, by adding I-94 card, marriage license and main page of passport as well as petitioner main passport page.
I did this simply because I was not sure if the same person handles the entire package and also this way they don't have to flip back and forth between the pages.

Well, lets hold the joy. I am still not sure everything is as they want it, until I start getting NOAs.
It took me about 3-4 weeks. Most of that time was spent making copies, and copies, and more copies. I had to wait on some docs from Germany, and then on some translations, and so on. The forms themselves don't take much time. Thats why I ultimately decided not to pay a lawyer, because I would have still needed to gather all the documents.

Correct, E-2. On part 3, I can see why they ask - you may have entered into the country long time ago under a different visa type.
Yes, these forms can get confusing. I struggled specifically with 130 and G-325.
-
ok, is see.
I just put E-2. I couldn't think of a word. Student or visitor is easy to say, but investor may confuse people.
-
Can you check the question again? Under part C there is no question 14.
Question 14 is under part B.
I still have my form 130 open, I just filed this week, and I am also working on E-2.

Too late. Already sent it.
It was too many loose papers.
And I went by this statement on their website:
Avoid using heavy-duty staples; instead use ACCO fasteners or heavy clips.
The black ones I used said ACCO, so I should be OK. They are easy to remove.

Detailed info available on checks and how to fill them out on USCIS website.

Yes, you got it. Just sent my package yesterday and had the same number of photos. Forms G-325 go with I-130.

Need help with this.
I am filing I-130 + AOS + AP + Work Permit.
Company lawyer said that I only need 2 passport-style fotos per filing for I-485, I-131, I-765, six in total.
However, instructions on I-130 say this:
C. A passport-style color photo of yourself and a passport-style color photo of your husband or wife, taken within 30 days of the date of this petition. The photos must have a white background and be glossy unretouched and not mounted. The dimensions of the full frontal facial image should be about 1 inch from the chin to top of the hair. Using pencil or felt pen, lightly print the name (and Alien Registration Number, if known) on the back of each photograph.
Anybody has any idea if these are needed or maybe this is only if you file 130 alone?

Thanks.
Do you think it matters if the timeline of an address in my home country overlaps with a time I was already in the US?
Just not sure, I have been here since 1997 on different visas.

I have included both birth certs + official translations of them, if needed. In place of a birth cert you can use an affidavit in lieu of. It needs to contain important information about you and your parents and signed and notarized.

Thanks for your feedback JoannaV.
I'd like to hear a second opinion before I send me papers off - TOMORROW is the big day. I have everything complete. Just those questions on the address abroad.
-
I noticed I posted in the wrong category. I am on a employment-based visa so I see that I need to be in the next section.

First, I noticed that this form is not referenced in your list of forms to submit when applying for AOS.
It looks like this forum is geared more towards K-Visa holders, for whom this form may not be required.
I am a former H-1B and now an E-holder through my company but now I am applying for AOS since I married a US citizen.
My husband needs to complete I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, and I have the following questions:
I-130 – Item 19 – do I need to provide an address abroad or can I leave this blank? I have been living in the US for many years and don’t really have an address in Germany anymore other than my mother's.
Same form, item 22 – on the consulate abroad – can I leave this blank since I am eligible for AOS? I am just concerned they send me to Frankfurt for some reason if I put Frankfurt, Germany there.
The address abroad questions resurfaces on G-325A where they ask me again for an address abroad for more than one year. I don’t want to confuse them by adding an address that coincides in time with me living in the US. But then, I understand that I am considered a non-immigrant and should have an address abroad.
What is recommended? I can add an address but what time frame should I use when I lived there?
Thanks for the help.

I just married and will now begin my process. I wanted to see if Anyone is familiar with AOS from an E 2 visa. I am at the stage where I am figuring out the forms I need to submit. My company lawyer gave me only minimal information, which included I-130, I-131 and I-485. Do I also need an affidavit of support? What other forms are required?
Thanks for any advice.

My boyfriend has made the first major step and filled out the N400. He is Mexican and he has taken numerous trips to his homecountry by car over the last 5 years. Sine your passport does not get stamped on these borders, compared to when you fly, he has no recollection of exact dates that he left and returned.
He is pretty nervous about this and asked a lawyer for advice. She recommended to do the best we can and if the vacation was over major holidays, then we should just indicate that.
Is this a deal-breaker if he does not annotate the correct date?
Other than that, the application seems not that complicated to complete and I would hate to spend all that money using a lawyer if its just for that.
Any help would be appreciated.

G-325A question
in Adjustment of Status from Work, Student, & Tourist Visas

You need one each - your husband's G325A and your G325A. Add them to the I-485 Application. If you divide everything neatly with tabs, as USCIS recommends, it does not matter, just create a tab for each form and they will easily locate each one.
