It seems you've done your homework, seems perfect to me
For your peace of mind, you might want to send it and ask for a delivery receipt.
-
Sorry for the delay, I'm in Belgium yes - just came back from visiting my fiancé
I've found the guides here to be the best help one can get combined with the "live" advices" from forum members.
Process has been quite smooth so far, I'm almost done, waiting for the interview date.
Double check everything, signatures and such, our I-129F was first sent back to us because fiancé forgot to sign a form
Make copies of everything also

Hi there and welcome
I'm going through the I-129F myself, waiting for the interview date.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate
-
Congrats!
I was wondering what was happening to you!
I hope I'll get my interview soon
-
The case number for the embassy and the alien number found on the NoA2 are two different things
-
Well, got a touch yesterday and today and case status = Approved
Woohoo I'm completely dazed
Leaving tomorrow to spend 3 weeks with my sweety, I hope all will go smoothly at poe
*must stop pinching myself*
-
Keeping fingers crossed too, and feet's too for good measure !

Hi, for K1 all the info you need is in the guides above, direct link here.
I'm sure some of your documents will be useful but better check first the requirements for K1.
Safe journey
-
It's all explained in the guides, here
Congratulations on your visa!
-
This might be useful k1 flow chart
As rsn said, next step is embassy interview, so you and your fiancé(e) might want to start preparing that.
-
The Ds-156 you are filing is part of your actual K1 petition, the question is referring to the possibility that someone else might have petitioned for you in the past.
At least, that's how I understand it

So I decided to go visit my fiancé after all, and will be doing so for 3 weeks starting 08/21
Of course I'm a bit nervous about being denied entry.
I think I'll just be honest and say I'm here to spend 3 weeks with my fiancé.
I'll bring copy of the NoA1 for proof and a letter from my work if they agree.
About that employer letter, is there an example somewhere?
It would prove very handy I have a rough idea on what to say but wouldn't mind some input.
Thank you all

45% on sheer intuition for some questions lol
Oh well it might change by the time I will actually need to worry about it
-
Yeah I know it's ridiculous ... I obtained it about 2 months ago.
I have no idea if I can ask for another one with the sentence translated.
Maybe I could just ask and provide the translation, after all it really is the most simple phrase.
Thank you for the advice

I don't think it will be an issue for the embassy for the K1 visa so I'm posting in the Aos section, I hope it's ok
So I have an international birth certificate, every label is in multiple languages but there is one sentence that has not been translated, stating when I got my Belgian citizenship. (had no nationality when born then the law changed and I was able to acquire Belgian citizenship being my mother's daughter)
There is still plenty of room in the box below that sentence, do you think it would be ok for me to take a copy of the certificate and then add on it the following :
"I hereby swear that the above sentence reads as follow : Acquisition of Belgian citizenship on xx/xx/xxxx at xxxxxxxx"
Or I could just write it on a separate letter while referring to the certificate, maybe it would be less confusing?
I feel so silly to have an international certificate with one sentence still in french lol

You don't give us much details, I think what this paragraph refers to is the embassy page on this site.
So look out the embassy that will handle your petition, there should be info on how to proceed to ask a police certificate.
-
Congratulations
Please refer to this guide for what documents you should bring your fiancée to help her prepare for the embassy stage.
Additional information can be found on the embassy page of her country

Congratulations

It's all very well explained in the guides that you'll find around here
After getting married your fiancé will have to start his AOS (adjustment of status) petition. Again you'll find the relevant info in the "guides" section.

So we were April filers but had to sent it back in May so I guess I should take up residence in this thread
And the good news of the day : check cashed, case number to be found on site yeah !
-
I didn't ask which paper he forgot to sign.
He feels so bad about it, I tried not to dwell on it too much.
Thank you for the encouraging words
A bit of a set back for us, fiancé forgot to sign one form so they sent it all backBut it's all arranged like they went through it all so I hope it won't delay us too much.
Which form was it? Sorry you're having a short setback. You'll be back on track soon!

Yes nothing to worry about, it's a lengthy process
The NoA1 should arrive a few days after you sent the package, you'll also have a clue when they cash the check.
After that, it will take at least 3 months before you hear from them.
By the way, when asking questions regarding an I-129F it's best to use the appropriate forum Family & Marriage Based Immigration (K1, K3, IR1, etc) to the USA > K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures you'll get much more answers there
And also, you might want to
Take care
