To see if your case has been "touched" you need to make an account on the USCIS website click here.
As for me, biometrics letter received today, appointment on 02/25

Received my Noa's last Saturday, dated 02/02 but no biometrics letter yet bouhou

Ah sorry I didn't see this sooner
You didn't need to translate it, for the embassy stage the documents can be in the official languages of the country.
I left mine in French and had no trouble.

Check cashed but I can't make out my file number on the back
Is it the same kind of reference as for a k1, starting with WAC or something ?
-
You need to ask for "Advance Parole" to be able to do that safely.
The problem is not going out of the US but getting back in without a green card.
You might want to read the AOS GUIDE which also refers to Advance Parole for traveling while waiting adjustment of status.
-
It all depends on what's stated on the DS-3025, if it states "vaccination history complete" then it should be fine and furthermore they should already have it in your file.
But, if your DS-3025 didn't state that, then a I-693 was needed.

Oh well just sent out all the paperwork today, hoping for a glitchless journey like we all do
-
I believe it's optional as it's written "and/or" on the instructions but if it can help, why not add it
-
I wouldn't worry that much, you had to give copy of your divorce decree for the initial filing of the I-129F.
They could have asked to see the divorce papers at the interview provided they didn't have them anymore in their file.
They didn't ask for them otherwise your fiancée would have told you so
So in my humble opinion it's not an issue

My first advice would be to read (or re read) the guides pertaining to Adjustment of Status for K-1 and the guide on how to obtain a SSN
I didn't wait for my marriage licence to ask for a SSN, so now I have a SSN under my maiden name, I'll change it when I'll receive my EAD and such.
* The I-485 is for adjustment of status only, you need to apply for the EAD (work authorization) and AP (permission to travel) at the same time and file all the forms together to avoid more fees.
* If your fiancée wants to change her name to yours, all forms must be completed using her married name, the maiden name is usually asked also.
* The I-94 is the white card that is attached to her passport, usually next to her visa. She had to fill in the form in the plane and the Immigration Officer at the airport should have stapled the bottom part to the passport and maybe put her A# on it.
-
Ok I see your point and I looked at the actual online site and form.
So for her I would fill in the AR-11 with her maiden name as that is how she's known to USCIS at the moment.
Her A# being with her maiden name.
All that will change, if she wishes, when you'll send in the AOS/EAD.
-
I didn't know what an AR-11 was so I looked it up and found this http://usavisanow.com/coa-ar-11.html where it states that it is to be used if you have a case pending by USCIS.
Unless I'm completely wrong, K1 is done so you no longer have a case pending until you file for AOS.
So I would just file AOS/EAD with her new name and your new address.
Or am I missing something?

Thanks all
I'll join a copy of the DS3025 with my application then, just to be on the safe side.

Hello all,
I'm trying to get things sorted out for the AOS.
I've seen there is a new I-693 so I proceeded in reading the instructions again and this has me confused :
"If the vaccination record (DS 3025) was not properly completed and included as part of the original, overseas medical, examination report, you will have to have the vaccination report completed by a designated civil surgeon."
My vaccination record was properly completed and included, I don't need any vaccines or follow-up, so the above instruction leads me to believe I do not need to complete the I-693 or am I missing something?
*scratches head*

You'll find relevant info here
And the forms can be filled within Adobe or other pdf program, you can also choose ink if you prefer except for the DS-156 that has to be filled online (a bar code is generated).

Vaccines are based on age requirements.
This will be more helpful see the table.

Thanks, I'm glad to hear that
Yeah looks like we're flying out on the same day!
The next worry is managing the 5 suitcases at baggage claim in Lax lol.
I wish you a nice flight
Take care !
Hello allI'm 2 days away from my new life, overstressed and exhausted and now I'm worrying about the fact that I have no annotation on my K1 Visa, no alien number is mentioned.
I've seen topics speaking of such annotation like name of fiancé and alien number so now I'm wondering.
Is it normal?
Maybe it's country dependant and it's not the same everywhere?
Thanks a bunch for any reassuring words you might have
2 days huh(EDIT: guess you're leaving tomorrow as well), only one for me, leaving tomorrow. still, congratulations for making it so far.
i just picked up my visa and it's the same for me. nothing is filled out for annotation.
both the consular and the clerks didn't mention anything.
as for the alien number, you don't have it yet. i guess you will get it once you change status to immigrant status.
so nothing out off the ordinary. you've passed the worst. no more need to be stressed out

Hello all
I'm having doubts all of a sudden for the copy of the birth certificate to send with AoS papers.
Can I use the same international extract from birth registration that I presented at the embassy?
Thank you

I don't know if this would help much, but yesterday I was reading a bit on the IRS site.
While waiting for adjustment, K1 aliens might not be taxed in the US for worldwide earnings depending if they are considered Non resident aliens or resident aliens and here is a graph that summarized it a bit.
A bit off topic I guess, but I thought it might be interesting

So yeah I had my interview this afternoon, I'm still a bit overwhelmed and such so it's not gonna be a big review just yet.
I think all went well, I'm disappointed not to have the visa yet and I'm gonna feel anxious until I do have it I'm afraid.
But the CO congratulated us, I asked if I could announce the good news and she said yes so it must be all good, right? lol
I hope I won't have to wait too long or I'm gonna collapse ..
-
Congrats !
Waiting is not easy but I'm sure it will be quicker than you think, hang in there

I'm from Brussels.
I'm sure your journey will be a smooth one also and I will keep you updated on my interview

About the 2555EZ how do you meet the the first or second test to qualify?
I'm curious about this because for people that have been to the US while their K1 was waiting, I don't see how it is possible to qualify.
