Where are ya'll finding out VSC status? Thanks.
You can look on the USCIS website (that's where I looked) If you check your case status (the wac number from your bio appt letter) then at the bottom you can use the dropdown boxes and see the processing times for each of the service centers...VSC is 8 months.

From all the other timelines I've looked at It appears that CSC is getting approvals/RFE's out in about 4 months. Hopefully they keep it up and we can hear something by the end of July

To clear up your lingering confusion:
1. She had sex.
2. She could have been pregnant.
3. Taking the pill is not a 100% guarantee against pregnancy.
4. Ovulation tests don't work the way you think they do.
5. The vaccinations she could have gotten at St. Lukes are contraindicated for pregnancy.
6. The nurses had nothing to do with you not keeping your ####### in your pants.

If she's anything at all like my wife, take her to a second hand clothing store - goodwill, DAV, or if you have one, Plato's Closet...my wife loves that place! She's really addicted to garage sales and estate sales too. You can spend time riding around seeing the town and shop cheap..lol BTW, it was NOT my idea to do this stuff. I was the one trying to get her to go to the mall...SHE's the cheap one! (I'm a lucky man, I know..lol)

So I guess after the biometrics, we just wait for RFE, interview or approval? And the timeline is the next 6-8 months?
I guess so
I guess I'll just check the case status from time to time and hope there aren't any glitches. We're gonna try to do the bio today, hopefully this office allows it. Hurry up and wait I guess Sachi (like that's something new lol) -

Got our ASC Appointment letter in the mail today dated 4/6/2012. Her appointment is on the 27th of this month but I think we'll try to do it early. I don't guess you have to have a reason other than it being more convenient for you do you? She works that day so we'll try it on next week on our day off. California Service Center (23 applicants)

My wife doesn't know how to swim either and was raised a stones throw from the Gulf of Leyte. I think a lot of it has to do with all the ferrys that sink there. She, along with most of the rest of the family, are even afraid to get in a boat. I don't think any of the family actually swims (wading doesn't count lol). They were surprised to see I could swim when we went to Samar for a day at the beach. I did think it's kinda odd to live on an island and not be able to swim

Got our receipt notice today
It's dated 3/26. No bio appointment letter yet. Do some people just file the I-751 and pay the fee without sending all the supporting docs? I was surprised to see the "If you have not already done so, provide supporting documents to assist USCIS..blah, blah..etc" part on the NOA. -
Hope this doesn't make you feel bad, but as has been discussed here your expensive acco folders were torn apart and tossed in the trash before they got to the adjudicators. VSC actually has a facility 20 miles away from the adjudicators to do just that. USCIS arranges things to their own standards in their own binders. During one of your interviews you may have seen your petition, as I did, disassembled and then reassembled as a booklet. There's no need to bind any petition with anything other than one big clip.

Did you guys put like colored paper dividers or anything to separate the different docs? In the folder we bought we will have different sections, but some of the pages like the tax transcript) are more than one page...and since I know they don't like stables and just take out paperclips, I didn't know if colored paper dividers were a good idea to separate clearly the different years of tax transcripts.
Also, did you highlight dates and/or names and things like that on the documents? I remember doing this for the original CR1, but just wanted to confirm that this would be okay.....
This is what I did with ours. I got the ACCO folder at Office Depot (stupid expensive!). I found the alphabetical tabs there as well. They're post-it I believe and are removable/reusable and I only paper clipped the bottoms of the documents. I did black out all but the last four digits of account numbers but didn't hi-lite anything

I'm surprised you need an appointment in Manila. I just "walked in" in Cebu. It was very quick and easy - I don't think we were there for more than 45 min total.

I sent them the 2009 and 2010 tax transcripts. We still haven't filed for the 2011. Somehow we owe $1500 in taxes. Blegh. So I am not going to file till April 15. If we get a RFE, then I'll send those returns in.
Damn! I had a dependent this year so I guess that's what we have to look forward to next year

I just ordered ours by phone. There were two options, the return transcript and tax account transcript, so I just ordered the past 3 years of each kind. I'll keep the account one for us and send them the return transcript. Thanks Chinky
