I was told by the immigration officer at my AOS meeting that because my work authorisation granted at JFK had expired, I would have to give up work immediately and apply for EAD or risk being deported if I was caught working.

While you're on the subject, it kind of irritates me when my wife uses the word "fourth" instead of "quarter". It also makes me cringe when she calls the toilet the "commode". Maybe I'm wrong but I always thought a commode was a seat that can turn into a toilet if required.

He's actually got just a bit too big for the dogs food bowl now, so him and his brother can usually be found sleeping in the dogs cage. I think all my animals are a bit mad. The dog eats the cats food and the cats run like mad to get to the dogs food as soon as I put it out.

Sujeet cooks Indian food very well, and cooked for himself while living alone in India, something that always bothered his mom because she wanted someone cooking for him. It's a cultural thing in India, but in the US we both cook. He enjoys it and does it on weekends mostly(he gets home too late from work during the week to cook, so of course I cook usually). I would never forbid him from the kitchen, his food is too yummy! But in India it would be odd if he cooked meals for me, although he wouldn't be afraid to do it anyway. Just his mom or sisters would maybe think it's not right.

Please send Sujeet to NorthEast Ohio for the weekend. At the moment I am missing curries more than I am missing my family.
