    British Army soldiers who live next to a barracks earmarked for 300 asylum seekers have warned they fear for the safety of their wives and children.
    Angus MacDonald MP said the Home Office plan to house the migrants at Cameron Barracks in Inverness had caused “considerable upset” among families living in 150 Armed Forces homes nearby.
    He said feelings had intensified as many of the servicemen, predominantly from the Black Watch, were “about to go on deployment abroad”, leaving their families behind.
