Dont worry Sinad, i had a situation more complicated than yours and everything was alright in the interview.

i applied in 2000 for a visitor visa and got denied, i applied again when my actual wife send me an invitation in 2005 and got denied too.

they have evrything about me and the interview was fine even we met only 1 time and got married in my country, they will focus on the bonafide and the good faith in your relation ship.

Dont worry and take it easy, you will get you visa...

the US EMB emailed us last tuesday and asked me to bring again my passport bz my AP are done in one week. (alhamdulilah 1000 times).

Today i pick up my passport with my CR1 VISA stamp on it, Alhamdulilah.

My wife send an email today to the us embassy to see the status of our case ans they told replied so fast telling her i am in administrative processing.

What should we do?

Tuesday i had my interview in the US Embassy in Tunisia (MENA) for CR1 visa.

I felt everything went fine, simple questions and i answered straight, the CO focus on 2 red flag we had, a marriage in the first and only trip my wife had to my country, and the mariage come after 2 months of divorce.

She asked me about the pictures, chat logs, letters, vonage (phone), she kept them ans she told me she need to take a look at them and they will call me.

i got only my passeport back, no 221g or confirmation and she didnt said administrative processing.

Well today my wife send them an email request about the status of our case and they told her i am in administrative processing.

I need your advise guys, what should we do and the chances for me to get this stupid visa?

Iam CR I, For those who already complete NVC, the AOS and DS230 docs are prepared, we have everything,

before send them to NVC, do we need to add a copy of USCIS files in the package (I130 and G325A)???

a quick answer will be appreciated

I got today the confirmation by email of the choice of agent, they accept the email i sent April 3.

The AOS fees are paid last week and it shows paid now.

i just wanna be sure of some stuff i am confused about:

1/ if we must wait for the NVC to send us the AOS form to file it or we can download it online and finish it.

2/ Without wait for NVC to send me the DS230, can i finish part one and sign and send it to my baby so when she pay the invoice she will have all the docs she need in her hands to accelerate the processing and send the package.

3/ Do she must sent the AOS and DS230 packages together or separatly?

4/ for those who filled those forms before, whats the difference between the forms we can download online and the forms will send (DS230 and I864)???? for the choice of agent i saw the form with the data code bar and my name and case #

In the RFE, they just ask about the birth certificate of my wife or a copy of the biographic page of her passeport or a copy of naturalisation.

Just something prove she is USC.

When we sent the I130 the first time we submit a copy of her passeport, so i think this time we will have to sent the birth certificate and maybe as said by Karin and Otto, i wont give more things till they ask for.

We just got the RFE, they are asking about the birth certificate of my wife to prove she is USC by birth, i dont know why they did that, we already sent them a copy of her us passeport.

In the I130 file, i forget to put Tunis, Tunisia in the city and the country in the question 22 (the American consular abroad) also i forget tu put none in my middle name case.

I forget to put this none in some cases in the G325A too.

Do we need to file a new I130 & G325a and submit those informations or we can just write a cover letter and indicate those mistakes????

by the way, they didnt ask about those mistakes in the RFE.

PLZ i need a quick answer, the RFE must arrive to them before march 7.

Once you get the documents back from USCIS, make sure you have signed and dated everything, as well as included the appropriate fees on your check. Did they by chance cash your check?

Well my case go this way:

Married in august 2008

Sent I130 in September 2008

Check cashed October 6, 2008

NO1 October 10, 2008

November , 2008 Update adress online.

touched February 10, 2009 (they said they sent RFE but nothing come)

touched February 25, 2009 (we got the last update)

After looking at it closer, it is not a Approval. I think they are sending your petition back to you, You may of forgotten to sign it, or sign another document enclosed in it.
