    Sifa & I met while I was serving in the Peace Corps in Kenya. He worked in the local hospital & I taught Kenyan Sign Language to the staff there. We became friends & then more than friends, and then got engaged in May 2009. Now he's finally here in the US and we couldn't be happier!

    Congrats! I was in the Peace Corps in Ethiopia 35 yrs ago and passed through Kenya on my way to Rwanda overland after my service was up. They had general strikes by all Ethiopian teachers at that time so most of the American PCVs went home in disgust. I was in the smallpox eradication program and my wonk continued nevertheless.
