The CO may want to see evidence of a strong relationship to be sure that you will not soon be ex spouse #7 and become a public charge.
Your other post talks about a pre-nup, so don't expect any sort of $$ should a divorce happen. The USC spouse likely has experience protecting assets in family court proceedings. And social services are limited when a green card holder.
Any immigrant moving far far away to live with someone that has been divorced that many times should have a back up plan.

There isn't anything you can do yet because USCIS doesn't even know you've sent them a petition. It's unlikely you're going to be able to stop the petition at the Texas lockbox since it just moves through there briefly. Wait until you get the NOA1 and the online status says it's been sent to the service center. Prepare a letter explaining that you'd like to withdraw the petition. It wouldn't hurt to have your signature on the letter notarized. Send the letter, along with a copy of the NOA1, to the service center.

It seems strange to me that you would live apart for another 8 months to save a few hundred dollars and not file the I-751 form.
All it is some paperwork to be filed at the 2 year mark of residency. If skipping that filing is important to you then wait.

OP - the best advice is to file for divorce and if the green card shows up in your mailbox, to return it to the USCIS. You could even make an Infopass appointment to hand deliver it to your local office - although if you think she might contact you to see if the green card has arrived, then you would have to hand it over if she requests it so sending it back by return, certified mail, with a covering letter stating the recipient has decided she no longer wants to be married, moved out on xxx date to live with a new boyfriend and that you have no idea where she is so are returning the green card to USCIS may be safer since it will be in your hands a shorter period of time. You could also include in your letter that you tried to contact USCIS about this several times but no one would speak to you, and you just found out that you could have revoked the Affidavit of Support before the green card was issued but didn't find that out until after card production had been ordered or you would have done so.
There is no guarantee that anything might happen, but with the green card back in their hands and your additional information, USCIS may decide tore-open case for additional review. If that happens, you may have the opportunity to notify them that you now wish to withdraw the Affidavit of Support and are pursuing a divorce. As I said, I have no idea if this will happen but if she hasn't filed a change of address form with them, you can give it the best chance of happening by returning the green card and including this additional information.

Actually it has nothing ing to do with VAWA. Simply put the I-485 is HER application to adjust status not the US Citizen's. All that is his in the packet is the Affidavit Of Spport which he could have withdrawn at any time BEFORE her Greencard was issued.

Incidentally, if you are going the K-1 fiancee route I strongly suggest you eliminate entirely ANY reference to this woman as your "wife" until you have your visa and she is here and you are actually married. This is a process where words mean things. She is your FIANCEE and has NO OTHER relationship to you. She is NOT your wife, she is NOT your girlfriend. You are NOT "married" in your hearts or otherwise (if you are married in your hearts then keep that to your heart and do not put it in writing ANYWHERE. Do NOT refer to each other as husband, hubby, wifey, or any other nonsense. That stuff shows up in an email used as evidence of relationship or on your facebook page (which the consulates often check) and your visa can be denied.

Background:
We mailed Mrs. T-B.'s N-400 (citizenship) to USCIS last week. I printed the 100 interview questions that USCIS can ask, wrote the answers, and gave them to Mrs. T-B. to study. She stated that she had "looked" at them "a little" during the last couple of days, between Facebook activity and chasing after young Mini-Bone.
